BJP-Congress indulge in blame game, Bengaluru suffers

Parts of Bengaluru have been submerged in rainwater due to a poor drainage system for the past few days, while Karnataka government and Congress resort to mud-slinging at each other.

Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai held the previous Congress regime responsible for their “unplanned administration”.

“This (waterlogging in Bengaluru) happened because of maladministration and totally unplanned administration of previous Congress govt. They gave permission right, left and centre in the lakes and buffer zone,” he added.

While Karnataka Congress President DK Shivakumar on September 07 asked CM Bommai to vacate the Chief Minister post and demanded President’s Rule.
