Government to introduce legislation for new high speed rail network

An Australian high speed rail network is one step closer to becoming a reality. Legislation for a new authority set to be introduced by the federal government. The body will aim to create a new network along the east coast, connecting Brisbane to Melbourne via Canberra, Sydney, and regional cities.
