00:00We've struck an agreement with the combined rail unions in NSW to ensure that trains will
00:09be operating this weekend. Obviously that means that those that need to use the rail
00:14network tomorrow and over the weekend can use it. That's good news for commuters in
00:19NSW. I need to also say that intensive bargaining will begin between the government and unions
00:27in NSW over the next two weeks with a view from all sides to get a long term deal across
00:36the unions that cover rail in the state that will last multiple years. We believe that
00:42there's enough good faith in the room to get that agreement in a short space of time and
00:47the government and the unions have committed to that. We're hopeful that we can have a
00:52breakthrough in that very soon but obviously the detailed work is yet to come. The unions
00:58have asked the government and I've agreed to run as many 24 hour train services this
01:04coming weekend as possible. We are working with Transport for NSW to ensure that crews
01:12operations are in place and are available to do just that. So they will be available
01:18some tonight, many tomorrow night and most the night after that. Although we might have
01:24full coverage, 24 hour coverage across the main train lines in Sydney on Friday evening
01:31but we're still working through the logistics of that.
