Plans to demolish well-used bridge

Local resident Dave Culshaw, is angry at the proposed plans to demolish the railway bridge on Ladies Lane, Hindley. Plans have been submitted to Wigan Council by Network Rail to demolish the bridge on Ladies Lane and over railway tracks at Hindley Station. If plans go ahead, the road will be closed for four-months, this will impact on pedestrians, train users, motorists, local businesses and the local community.
