When rolling blackouts hit his Kyiv apartment block, rescue worker Taras Logginov became concerned about the lifts in his 17-storey building. He began leaving bags of supplies, including medication, a flashlight and a children’s colouring book, in the elevator.  Russian air strikes on power facilities have wreaked havoc on hundreds of homes in the Ukrainian capital.
