Malaysia, as Asean Chair is committed to fostering even closer integration, deepening trade, economic and energy integration within the region and with the rest of the world, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim at an InvestMalaysia programme in London on Thursday (Jan 16).

00:24talent potential while leveraging its proximity to Singapore to attract investments and create

00:33He said ASEAN will enhance regional energy cooperation with key steps, such as integrating
00:39Thai and Laos energy grids into the broader Asian network.
00:45Anwar said this at the Invest Malaysia programme in London on Thursday.
00:50Earlier, he met industry players and institutional investors on the third day of his working
00:55visit to the United Kingdom.
00:58The companies that attended the roundtable included Colchester Global Investors, Manulife
01:03Investment Management, Europe Limited, Amundi Asset Management, Wellington Management and
01:09Red Wheel Partners Limited.
01:13Anwar also visited the Batasi Power Station, an iconic leisure and shopping destination
01:19which is one of Malaysia's largest investments in the UK.
