Single album band from Dublin. Formed in the early seventies, Mushroom was at the time one of the leaders in Irish folk music. The group consisted of five musicians. The undisputed leaders were violinist Pat Collins and guitarist Aonghus McAnally, son of the famous actor Ray McAnally. Three other members enriched the group's sound, in addition to the main set of instruments, with the sound of organ, harpsichord, pipes, bells, mandolins ... Their hit from the first single "Devil Among The Tailors" climbed to number two on the Irish Top 20 in 1973, and the single "Kings And Queens" peaked at number thirteen on the charts in 1974. Released in 1973, the only LP "Early One Morning" sold about 100,000 copies and today the original edition is valued at an average of about € 1000.
