Macedon residents trial kerbside soft plastics collection

While soft plastics from Melbourne are now ending up in landfill after the collapse of recycler red cycle many regional areas are continuing to push on with their own collection and recycling schemes. In the Macedon ranges northwest of Melbourne residents are trialling kerbside collection of soft plastics in the hope it becomes a blueprint for the rest of Victoria.
