Former chief minister of J & K Dr Farooq Abdullah says he is an incorrigible optimist and hopes Allah will keep him alive to see J & K's statehood and autonomy restored. No election has taken place in the state for the past three years but he says it cannot be postponed indefinitely. When that happens, every eligible Kashmiri will have to come out and vote or else face the consequences.
