Après deux jours de bataille acharnée, le Tour des Alpes-Maritimes et du Var se terminait ce dimanche avec la 3e et dernière étape, ralliant Villefranche-sur-Mer et Vence. Sur ces 133 kilomètres, les coureurs ont emprunté le Col d'Eze (6,9km à 5,1%), le Col de Châteauneuf (6,9km à 6,3%), Carros (5,3km à 5,2%) et la Montée de la Sine (4,2km à 4,5). Et c'est Aurélien Paret-Peintre (AG2R Citroën) qui s'est imposé. Le Français s'est montré le plus costaud aujourd'hui et a remporté l'étape devant Mattias Skjelmose (Trek-Segafredo) et Kévin Vauquelin (Arkéa Samsic). Vauquelin, s'impose quant à lui au général de ce Tour des Alpes-Maritimes et du Var, sa première victoire en professionnel sur un classement général.
