00:04 I started at Dailymotion in November 2016.
00:07 I started as a software developer and then became the team lead for the AdTech team and then the director of engineering.
00:13 In terms of technology, we use on the console side for the backend Golang language.
00:19 For the frontend, we use JavaScript with a React library.
00:22 On the player ad side, we use also JavaScript with a Preact library.
00:26 For the exchange, we use C++ language and we have different databases.
00:33 SQL database for the console which is in PostgreSQL and NoSQL database for the exchange which is Aerospike.
00:40 The advertising market is a very challenging market because it's always changing, always new standards to implement.
00:45 Also in terms of pure technology, the exchange needs to support around 4 to 8 thousand requests per second per instance over the world.
00:53 So it's a very hard goal to achieve.
00:55 At Dailymotion, we have a very unique position because we have the player, we have also the video hosting and the monetization platform.
01:02 And because of that, we create our own organization framework.
01:06 So we have three ways of working.
01:08 The ground lane which is classic sprint, discovery which is a sprint to prepare also what we call a delivery.
01:14 And the delivery is a maximum time window of six weeks where we will deliver what we wanted to do during the discovery.
01:21 And because of this unique position, we are looking for very creative and autonomous profiles for our teams.
