होली और रंगपंचमी के बाद शीतला अष्टमी का पर्व महत्वपूर्ण होता है. शीतला अष्टमी चैत्र माह के कृष्ण पक्ष की अष्टमी तिथि को पड़ती है और इसके एक दिन पहले सप्तमी तिथि को शीतला सप्तमी मनाई जाती है. आज यानी मंगलवार 14 मार्च को शीतला सप्तमी और बुधवार 15 मार्च को शीतला अष्टमी मनाई जाएगी. इसे बसोड़ा भी कहा जाता है.माता को भोग लगाने के लिए रात में नहाने के बाद महिलाएं पकवान तैयार करती हैं. लेकिन पकवान बनाते समय कुछ बातों का विशेष ध्यान रखना चाहिए. क्योंकि यह कोई साधारण पकवान नहीं बल्कि प्रसाद के रूप में माता शीतला को चढ़ाया जाने वाला विशेष भोग होता है. चलिए आपको बताते हैं शीतला अष्टमी पर माता शीतला को भोग बनाते समय किन चीजों को ध्यान रखना चाहिए.
