A powerful earthquake of magnitude 7.8 has caused widespread damage and left many families in need of assistance in Turkey and Syria. The death toll has reached over 60,000, with thousands more injured.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said,
“The similitude of believers in regard to mutual love, affection, fellow-feeling is that of one body; when any limb of it aches, the whole body aches, because of sleeplessness and fever.”
(Sahih Muslim)
