Lemon cane polymer clay tutorial

00:00 Hi guys!
00:12 In this video we're making a lemon cane so we have lemon slices to use for our miniatures
00:18 You only need 3 colors, yellow, white and translucent
00:24 Mix 1 part yellow and 2 part translucent
00:29 Roll it into a ball and press down on the top to form a fat cylinder shape
00:36 Cut it into 8 equal pieces like cutting pieces of cake
00:47 Roll out some white clay and cut a section to cover the inside of the piece
00:54 Do this to half of the pieces
00:58 Put the pieces back together and add a small piece of white clay to close the gap in the middle
01:18 Squeeze the cane to make sure it's stuck together
01:24 Roll out some more white and cover the cane
01:38 Roll out some yellow and cover the cane again
01:52 Now squeeze the cane to get rid of any air and start stretching
02:08 Roll the cane to desired size
02:18 Cut the slices you need, if the cane is too soft then let it cool down before cutting
02:24 Use a needle tool to add texture by scratching the yellow inside of the slices
02:38 Bake for a few minutes to harden and you can keep them until you need them
