00:00 What's up YouTube, SuperMean here and in this episode we'll be doing food and cooking.
00:12 And this is episode 2 if you do not know already.
00:17 And this is a Minecraft tutorial series so if you have not watched my first video I suggest
00:21 you go back there because as to I do make references.
00:26 So in the last episode we dug up this little shelter here.
00:32 I made some holes to see through.
00:36 I also made a nice little bedroom down here with a torch.
00:41 So I tried many times to do this.

00:53 Never mind this, it's just that I'm playing on a different world with that.
00:58 I did this video many times and did not go so well but all I did in the other video was
01:05 kill cows and get their leather.
01:09 To get leather you can make armor.
01:12 And armor will be in the next episode but in this episode I'll show you how to cook
01:15 food.
01:16 To cook food you can either kill cows and pigs.
01:22 And chickens.
01:23 If you're on 1.8 or further on.
01:26 So once you kill a chicken, a cow or a pig you can get their meat.
01:35 Like this is cooked pork chop and this is raw beef.
01:39 When you kill a pig you get raw pork chop and when you kill a chicken you get raw chicken.
01:45 And I did get some coal if you haven't noticed already.
01:48 I got it offline.
01:50 So now what we're gonna do is we're gonna open up our furnace, put a piece of coal in
01:54 the bottom and put the raw beef at the top.
01:58 And while that's cooking I'm just gonna quickly go outside and show you how to kill a pig,
02:05 a cow and a chicken.
02:09 If I could find any.
02:11 Okay, hey sheep.
02:13 I don't want you sheep though.
02:14 I need a cow or a pig.
02:20 Come on.
02:21 I hate it.
02:22 Whenever you're looking for something you never find it.

04:42 And I guess probably maybe in episode 4 or 5 we'll start mining to get some cobblestone and start making our real shelter.

04:57 And it turns into a steak once you kick.
04:59 I mean kick.
05:01 Once you cook raw beef it turns into a steak.
05:05 Now that I showed you how to kill we're gonna put that in and it will turn into that.
05:09 So I'm not gonna do that because I already got enough and I'm just gonna put a chicken in here.
05:16 And what was I gonna show?
05:18 Oh yeah in Minecraft beta 1.8 um things are different.
05:22 It's not like 1.7.3 or down.
05:27 It's actually um hold on let me just okay.
05:31 So I'm just gonna hit escape.
05:32 And if you see these drumsticks down here that look like drumsticks.
05:36 Um when you don't eat they start going down they shake and then they go down.
05:41 If you just saw it started shaking a little and then went down.
05:44 And um if the whole thing is black that means you're gonna start losing health.
05:51 So you have to have at least about over here or over here.
05:56 Because if you have lost lives and you have full drumstick or whatever the hunger bar I guess.
06:03 If your hunger bar is um full and you have health like halfway.
06:08 It'll just regenerate your health automatically you don't have to eat any food.
06:12 But if your um health hunger bar is over here or down here somewhere.
06:19 It will not regenerate and you will need food.
06:22 And again if um on your hunger bar if it's at the very last tippy top.
06:27 Then you're in trouble you gotta find some food and eat it.
06:31 Or else um your health will start going down.
06:34 So that's that and I'm gonna go back to it.
06:37 Oh it's night time okay so we're just gonna go to our furnace and there it is one cooked chicken.
06:42 So I have a nice pile of food right here.
06:44 I don't need to worry about it for a few minutes.
06:47 And um I guess this is it um just in case I'm forgetting anything.
06:53 I don't know if I am.
06:56 Oh yeah um I killed some squids.
06:58 I um fought some zombies and skeletons.
07:02 Um and I think that's it.
07:05 I went a little mining to get some cobblestone but yeah.
07:10 And um yeah I guess this is it.
