00:00 Assalamualaikum everyone, today I am going to share with you a recipe of tomato soup
00:04 which is very rich and creamy, restaurant style
00:07 so let's start making this tomato soup
00:11 to make this I am taking a pan and adding 1 tbsp butter
00:15 you can use refined oil or ghee instead of butter
00:18 when butter is slightly heated, I am adding 1 bay leaf
00:22 after adding bay leaf, I am adding 4 garlic cloves finely chopped
00:27 I am also adding 1/2 inch ginger piece
00:31 after adding ginger, I will mix these 2 well
00:35 stir them and fry them in butter
00:39 after that I am adding 1 medium sized onion
00:43 I have cut the onion and I will add it in the same way
00:47 and stir it once or twice with butter
00:50 now I am adding a small piece of beetroot
00:53 I am adding beetroot so that our tomato soup gets a nice color
00:57 and I don't want to add any artificial color
01:01 so I am adding it, you can add any food color if you want
01:05 after adding beetroot, I am using 6 medium sized tomatoes
01:09 which are medium sized and totally red tomatoes
01:13 I will stir them well
01:17 after stirring, I will add 1/2 tsp salt
01:20 so that our tomatoes get cooked quickly
01:23 after adding salt, I will stir it and let it cook on low flame
01:27 let it cook for 6 to 7 minutes
01:31 after 6 to 7 minutes, tomatoes are cooked and mashy
01:45 so I am mashing it roughly
01:48 and after mashing, I will strain it through a strainer
01:52 you can also grind it, but grinding changes the taste
01:56 so if you want to have restaurant style tomato soup

02:04 so I will add all the tomatoes in the strainer
02:08 and I will press it well and take out all the pulp

02:18 now we have only the seeds and skin of tomatoes left

02:44 and I will turn the flame on high
02:48 and I will cover it and let it boil
02:52 and while it is boiling, I will add corn flour
02:56 to give it a restaurant style thickness
03:00 so I am taking 1 tsp corn flour and I will add 4 tsp water
03:04 and after adding water, I will make a paste of it
03:08 and I will make a paste of it
03:12 and while the paste is getting ready, our soup is boiling
03:16 so now I will add this paste in the tomato soup
03:20 so I will add it slowly
03:24 and after adding it, I will let it cook for 6 to 7 minutes
03:28 on high to medium flame
03:32 and when it will be cooked for 6 to 7 minutes
03:36 I will add some spices to it
03:40 so after 6 to 7 minutes, it is thick and cooked well
03:44 so I am adding 1/2 tsp black salt and 1/2 tsp chaat masala powder
03:48 and now I am adding 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
03:52 and after adding it, I will mix it well
03:56 and after mixing it, I will add tomato sauce
04:00 so that it gets a nice color and it's taste gets balanced
04:04 so I am adding 1 tbsp tomato sauce
04:08 and after adding tomato sauce, I will serve it
04:12 and our tomato soup is ready
04:16 so I will serve it and show you
