Cooking Pot Tutorial

00:00 Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, and whatever you are.
00:07 This is Dark's tutorial to the cooking pots, which is right there.
00:14 I will be showing you the basics of creating this magnificent invention, plugin, whatever
00:22 you want to call it.
00:24 First off, oh yeah, it's really laggy, it's fraps, I hate fraps, it's not cool.
00:29 First, you need a netherrack.
00:32 They're extremely easy to find because there's a nether portal right at spawn.
00:37 Yeah, convenience.
00:40 So step one, get a netherrack and place it down.
00:44 Step two, get yourself a lever and turn it on.
00:50 It's the only way to start the fire because for whatever reason we can't place fires.
00:56 I don't know, ask the admins.
01:01 Step three, place a sign on the netherrack that says "cook" within the brackets as well.
01:10 Don't mind the numbers, they're not important, they'll fill themselves in afterwards.
01:15 Step four, place a chest above the fire.
01:19 And now you've made a cooking pot, yeah, woohoo!
01:25 Now in order to use the cooking pot, you can either use a coal, charcoal, or coal.
01:35 These are used to fuel the pot.
01:38 So right click with the coal and it fills in that number on the bottom which is the
01:45 fuel.
01:47 It doesn't give the exact number of stuff that you'll be cooking, so don't pay too much
01:56 attention to it other than keeping it up high.
01:59 And you can use charcoal, right click, depending on whichever button you have set to place
02:05 a block.
02:06 So use that one.
02:08 And it fills it up.
02:09 The middle one, I believe, is the number of blocks you've cooked so far.
02:16 Or food, whatever you decide to cook.
02:19 To use it, right click on the sign, or whatever button you have set for it, take the item
02:24 you want to cook, it could be wood, an ore, not diamonds of course, or redstone, or lapis,
02:35 or emeralds.
02:37 It could be pork chops, or steak, and fish.
02:44 Anyways, take the item you want, you can either shift click it, you can click it in, doesn't
02:49 really matter.
02:50 Take the item, drop it in, cooks instantly.
02:54 Like it will cook anything instantly.
02:56 It's awesome how this stuff works.
02:59 And then it's made.
03:00 And that's how you use a cooking pot.
