00:00 First step is to get a neutral eyeshadow palette.
00:08 This one is from Avon called Chocolate Sensation from the True Color Collection.
00:13 I'm starting with number 2 which is a taupe color and buffing that on the whole eyelid
00:17 with an eyeshadow brush.
00:19 Next to number 2 is number 3 which is a warm brown eyeshadow.
00:23 Apply that on the outer V and extending it up until the crease area.
00:27 We're gonna blend that later.
00:44 Now take any kind of gold eye pencil or you can also use bronze.
00:48 Just place that on the bottom lash line from the tear duct to the outer corner.
00:52 And then set with a gold eyeshadow like this one from the Too Faced Love Sephora palette
00:57 using a small eyeshadow brush from Virginia Austin.
01:07 After that, take the darkest color from the first palette and then concentrating on the
01:11 outer V using a pencil, crease, or blending brush.
01:15 Don't blend it all the way in cause we kinda keep the light colors on the lid and then
01:19 the darker colors on the outer corners.
01:22 On the edges, with a clean blending brush, make sure that you're only using the tip of
01:26 the brush in order to get a decent eyeshadow.
01:29 Once the eyeshadow becomes blurry or soft, that means you're done blending.
01:39 I'm gonna highlight my brow bone now with the lightest color from the palette using
01:43 an angled brush.
01:45 Working with frost or shimmery eyeshadows can be tricky so make sure to apply it moderately.
01:52 Next I'm gonna do my face work.
01:53 For the products I've used in this video, please read the description box.
01:57 All of the products are in there but basically what I'm doing now is I'm putting foundation,
02:02 concealer, and powder after the eyeshadow because I want to prevent fallouts especially
02:08 when I'm working with dark and shimmery eyeshadows.
02:12 It's best to remove fallouts before foundation rather than after the face work.
02:17 Just to be safe, now I'm also putting a lighter powder under my eyes just to brighten them
02:23 up.
02:24 After setting my face with powder, I like to go ahead and contour my cheeks.
02:28 I'm using this Virginia Olsen bronzer wood matte with a tapered brush from Beauty Cosmetics.
02:33 This bronzer is one of my favorites because it's highly pigmented.
02:37 I'm also going over the sides of my nose to have a bit of that sun-kissed look.
02:41 Then I'm just cleaning under the contour with a face powder and a sculpting brush.
02:47 Moving on with the blush, I'm using this one from Iris and just placing that on the apples
02:51 of my cheeks.
02:56 Next I'm going to line my eyes with black gel liner.
02:59 You may use any kind of liner but for me, I'm used to gel liners.
03:02 One way to achieve a perfect eyeliner is to make sure your hands are stable.
03:07 You may rest your pinky finger on your cheekbones or rest your arm on a table.
03:11 Also tilt your head up or look down into a mirror to make it easier.
03:18 After that, put some mascara and false lashes.
03:21 For a video on how to put falsies, please watch my recent video.
03:28 Now I'm just applying Benefit's fake up concealer on my lips to erase the natural lip color
03:33 and blending it with my foundation brush.
03:36 Then I'm lining my lips with a light pink or nude lip liner from Look Beauty as my lipstick.
03:41 These lip liners are so creamy yet they stay in place for a long time.
03:45 And then to finish that, I'm putting some light pink lip gloss on top.
03:54 You may stop at this point but you may also choose to wear red lipstick.
03:58 This one is a classic color from Revlon but in this video, I'm going for dark lipstick.
04:03 To do that, just take a brown eye pencil or brown lip liner if you have and choose the
04:07 shape of your lips.
04:08 Take your time with this and try to make the shape perfect so that you won't have any trouble
04:11 with the lipstick that you're going to put next.
04:14 And then pick a matte lipstick in a dark shade and apply that all over the lips.
04:18 This one I'm using is from Jazzy Collections called Kiss Proof Lip Gloss.
04:22 It's really kiss proof once it's dry.
04:29 Lastly set your makeup with a translucent powder or a setting spray and you're done!
04:37 So this is the finished look!
04:39 I hope you try this chocolate inspired makeup.
