Makeup Works Eye Shadow Palette Review

00:00 Hey guys, this is Tiffany and I am so excited about this Christmas gift that I got and I
00:06 wanted to share my review about it because I thought it was really cool especially for
00:11 makeup, I wouldn't say virgins, but semi-virgins like myself.
00:17 Let me tell you, I am in no way, shape, or form a makeup guru.
00:22 My makeup routine consists of a little bit of blush, I fill in my eyebrows, I put on
00:27 eyeliner, a little bit of mascara when I'm feeling like it, and some lip gloss and I
00:33 hit the door.
00:34 Trust and believe, I don't do the whole full thing.
00:37 I just don't really feel it unless I'm going out for a special evening, then I'll put some
00:41 eyeshadow on or something like that or if it's just one of those days when I'm feeling
00:45 myself I may put some eyeshadow on for a daytime meeting or something like that.
00:49 But trust and believe, don't think you're going to watch this video and see a full makeup
00:53 tutorial.
00:54 There's tons of videos out there on YouTube for that, go find them, they're experts.
00:58 I just want to share this gift with you all out there who are just like me and you know
01:04 you just want something simple and something easy to use.
01:08 Then this really cool product that I got called Makeup Worksie.
01:14 Come in this snazzy box and it has all of these different colors and a little mirror
01:23 in there and a dual sided brush for your blending and your application.
01:33 And then it just tells you on the back the name of the different colors.
01:36 But what I really love about this is voila!
01:42 So the palette came in this package right here which is so nice, I love that.
01:48 But I love even more is that on the back they give you this nice tutorial on how to just
01:54 apply a natural look to your eyes.
01:57 And if you're like me and you're not a makeup person and you need all the help you can get,
02:02 this is perfect.
02:03 So that's what I did on my right eye and as you can see it's just a little pop of color,
02:11 not anything super fabulous.
02:13 And of course on my left eye I have no makeup on there so you can see the difference.
02:18 But I'm just going to show you right now how easy you can go from just a natural color
02:22 to a dramatic color just with this simple box.
02:25 So I'm going to find just a natural color to go on my eyes.
02:29 I'm going to use my mirror here.
02:30 Okay, so this is just something plain that just kind of matches my complexion.
02:55 If I just want to go out with something simple then I can just put this on, it's super natural.
03:02 So I want to add a little bit of color onto this.
03:04 So let's do that.
03:05 And I'm just going to put a little bit of this on my right eye.
03:32 And there we have it, that's more of a dramatic look.
03:46 See there, I have a little shimmer of color.
03:47 Now if you really want something more dramatic then we can add something like this.

04:01 So this is an even more dramatic look.
04:04 It looks more kind of like a smoky look.
04:07 I mean I know you probably can't see it as clearly as I can being on the other side of
04:12 the camera but it's just that simple to go from a natural look to a dramatic look with
04:18 just one simple palette.
04:19 So that's why I love it.
04:20 It's really simple, really cool, and really fun to play around with.
