00:22 One thing you may not know about me and my husband is that my husband is really, really

00:29 He just had a custom chopper built.

00:35 We are just into it.
00:36 We love going to bike shows.
00:38 We love going to bike events here in central Pennsylvania.
00:41 We've been to Daytona.
00:42 My husband's been to Myrtle Beach Bike Week.
00:43 We've been to Ocean City Bike Week.
00:45 We'd love to go to Sturgis.
00:46 That's quite a haul for us though, so I'm not sure if that's going to happen anytime
00:50 soon.
00:51 But we do love the biker community as a whole.
00:53 They are one of the nicest groups of people.
00:57 I know some people, I think, have this terrible preconception about them, but the biker community
01:02 as a whole is amazing.

01:06 They're just amazing, amazing people.
01:08 I thought I would do a video on five tips on how to look like a biker chick.
01:14 Tip number one, attire.
01:17 If you're at a bike event where you don't actually have to ride to the event, which
01:21 a lot of the events that I've gone to have been like that because we've been in Daytona
01:24 and we did not trailer a bike down there, we actually flew, I would say less is more.
01:32 This is a shirt I actually ... One of my husband's old Daytona t-shirts, I actually took it,
01:36 cut it, and it's adorable.
01:38 I would wear this to a biker event here.
01:40 We just had Gettysburg Bike Week here recently.
01:44 Something like this would be really fun.
01:45 There's Harley t-shirts.
01:47 There's tons and tons of stuff you can get.
01:49 Or you can, of course, make stuff like I would.
01:52 Just make it fun, make it interesting.
01:55 Cleavage is, of course, huge with bikers.
01:57 Short shorts, whatever.
01:58 Whatever you want to do, no matter what your size, however you want to feel.
02:03 There's no judgment in the biker community.
02:05 Do whatever you want to do, girl.
02:07 You're on the back of a bike or actually operating the bike, please, please, please, please wear
02:11 long sleeves.
02:12 It's easy.
02:13 Wear a jean jacket.
02:14 Wear jeans.
02:15 Make sure you're wearing closed-toed shoes, whether it be sneakers or boots or whatever
02:18 you have.
02:19 Always make sure you're wearing serious protection on your body if you are operating the bike
02:23 or on the back of a bike.
02:24 It's so important to make sure you're doing that.
02:27 If something would happen and you'd be thrown from the bike or if you would crash, you could
02:32 have some serious, serious road rash.
02:35 Having a little bit of protection on you would really help.
02:38 I know it's not as fun, but trust me, you'll definitely save money.
02:43 Every other book that tells you to make sure you're wearing appropriate clothing.
02:47 Even your honey or whatever you want to do, you guys can have matching outfits.
02:50 It's amazing the amount of awesome ideas that people come up with to wear.
02:53 You have appropriate eye protection.
02:57 Now these are not worth crap.
02:58 They're not actually polarizing or anything.
03:00 You can buy the cutest scarves.
03:03 Vamp up your outfit a little bit.
03:04 Skulls, perfect for any kind of biker event.
03:08 Tip number two, makeup.
03:13 There's lots of different ways to do makeup.
03:14 There's no right or wrong answer to this, but for me, biker means heavier makeup.
03:19 I don't get to wear this much makeup on the regular guys, so whenever there is a reason
03:23 for it, I embrace it.
03:26 I love wearing tons and tons of makeup, obviously.
03:30 It's a really great reason to put on a serious smokey eye and really nice nude lip and just
03:35 go.
03:36 Just go for it.
03:37 Do whatever you feel like rocking.
03:38 If you want to wear big false lashes, go for it.
03:41 If you want a more bright red lipstick, go for it.
03:43 There's no judgment.
03:44 The biker community is awesome.
03:47 There are women there that don't have a stitch of makeup on.
03:50 It doesn't matter, but this is just what I like.
03:52 I like having on some full on makeup.

06:58 Tip number three, sunscreen.
06:59 Make sure you're using appropriate sunscreen.
07:00 Seriously, it sounds like a stupid tip, but if you're on the back of the bike, riding
07:04 the bike or out all day at an event, you need to make sure you're putting on sunscreen,
07:09 guys.
07:10 With the heat right now, whatever, even in the middle of the fall, make sure you're wearing
07:13 sunscreen.
07:14 If your body is showing, make sure you're wearing sunscreen.
07:17 Tip number four, hair.
07:18 Seriously, if it's in a helmet, I would bring it down like this so when it comes out of
07:24 the helmet, you can at least make it look semi-cute.
07:26 There are so many different ways of doing cute headband stuff.
07:30 You can do the Rosa the Riveter, the Brett Michael.
07:34 I like to call this the biker babushka.

07:39 That's what I like doing where you can buy hats, you can use big cowboy hats, whatever
07:46 you want to wear.
07:47 It's all up to you.
07:48 I would definitely wear something in your hair though, especially if you're going to
07:51 be having helmet head, which you should because you should be wearing a helmet.

07:57 Tip number five, just enjoy yourself, guys.
