00:00 Hey everyone, so today I'm going to be sharing with you all another look using the Too Faced
00:04 Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette. This is my go-to, like,
00:08 favorite smoky eye look. I like to use blackened brown, like,
00:12 taupe-y lid almost, sort of fading up like a true smoky eye
00:16 and then a really warm, lower lid, almost like
00:20 a tan brown. So, I hope that you guys enjoy it. I wore this a lot
00:24 over the holidays, and in some recent videos I wore this look and you guys
00:28 wanted to see a tutorial. Plus, there's just so many ideas that I have
00:32 with this, so we're going to keep sort of getting through
00:36 different tutorials with this palette. I just love it so much. But, I hope that you guys
00:40 like this look. If you want to see exactly how I did everything, then keep watching.
00:44 So, I usually don't show doing my eyebrows, but I figured
00:48 why not? It makes such a big difference. I'm using my Anastasia Brow Wiz
00:52 in Taupe. I just sort of lightly get the middle.
00:56 I like to go along the tops of mine, because that's where
01:00 the bottom is pretty smooth, but the top is kind of uneven. So,
01:04 that's what works best for me.
01:08 And then I kind of comb them into place.
01:12 Add some clear brow gel. This is the Anastasia Clear.
01:16 For my eye, for my actual lid, since I'm doing
01:20 like a more cooler, grayish brown up there, I'm going to use
01:24 my Laura Mercier Caviar Stick in Khaki.
01:28 These just like glide on so easy. Like, I have to use such a light
01:32 hand with this one, because it really... you can get way too much
01:36 on there, but I'm just going right to the crease. You don't have
01:40 to make it look perfect, because we're going to take
01:44 a brush and smooth it out. And this is an E44.
01:48 It's my favorite, favorite brush for cream eyeshadow
01:52 products, or for smoothing out a product like that.
01:56 So I mainly just sort of make sure that the lid is smooth.
02:00 And...
02:04 then I smooth out the crease. And I wipe it
02:08 off a little on my hands sometimes, because I don't want to... when I smooth
02:12 this middle part, I don't want to smudge too much in there.
02:16 I don't want to pull it up very high either. I'm just smoothing it in the crease so it looks even.
02:20 But these are awesome. It's one of my favorite
02:24 colors. So like I said, we're using the Semisweet
02:28 Chocolate Bar Palette. I'm going to take an E55 brush in this shade called Pudding.
02:32 I'm going to pat that all over the
02:36 color. Just until it's all
02:40 even. I'm going to take this color called Coco Chili.
02:44 And an E35 brush. I'm just going to put it right in the crease.
02:48 I'm just going to make it a little darker. And I'm not pulling the color up
02:52 very high. I'm just concentrating it right there.
02:56 Then I'm going to take this color
03:00 called Moose on a bigger fluffy brush.
03:04 This is an E40. The one that I used before was a
03:08 E35.
03:12 I'm just going to sort of overlap that right where we applied that color, and then pull it up
03:16 just slightly.
03:20 I'm going to take this matte color, the highlight,
03:24 in Coconut Cream. Put it right up under my brow.
03:28 I'm also going to take that same color on a smaller brush.
03:32 You can even sort of mix it with this more frosted color, the Butter Pecan.
03:36 Put that right on this inner corner.
03:40 Always have to kind of pat it a little bit so it's not too much. A little more on this side.
03:44 Then we're going to make the lower lash line very
03:48 warm in comparison as you can see. So I'm going to take the Peanut Butter
03:52 shade and a smaller brush. This is an E57, which is really
03:56 good for the lower lash line. I'm going to make a very thick
04:00 smudge along the lower lash line.
04:04 Especially in this outer corner. It's going to be pulled down just a little further.
04:08 And blended inward. About to where that
04:12 light color begins. Then I like to take just a little bit of these
04:16 sparkly shades. I couldn't decide which one are frosted shades, I mean.
04:20 Just kind of go back and forth, I guess. And overlap that right over it.
04:24 And just to make it more cohesive, I'll take my
04:28 Urban Decay 24/7 pencil in Bourbon.
04:32 And just lightly line my waterline. And that matches the color.
04:36 It sort of makes that lower lash line look a bit warmer. It just makes it
04:40 stand out a bit more. I'm also using the 24/7 pencil in Perversion
04:44 for my upper lash line. We're going to smudge it out.
04:48 So you don't have to worry about making the perfect line or anything.
04:52 Since the upper lid is so dark, I just want it to sort of
04:56 just gradually get darker as it hits the lashes. I don't want like
05:00 a very defined line with
05:04 a pencil or anything. Or even like a liquid.
05:08 So I'm going to take an E30 synthetic brush, which is the best brush for
05:12 sort of smudging pencil liners.
05:16 Just sort of lightly go back and forth until you soften it up a bit.
05:20 Then you can take that same brush that you used on your lower lash line or
05:28 this is an E32. It's sort of similar, but I like using this one for my
05:32 really dark, dark colors. I'm using this
05:36 licorice shade right on the tip of the brush. You're going to smudge
05:40 it right over that color. Right over the pencil.
05:44 So it just looks like a gradient with your eyeshadow. It looks like it just gradually gets darker
05:48 as it goes to your lashes. Which sort of gives you
05:52 a true smoky eye look. And now just the finishing touch. I'm just going to use
05:56 some mascara. I'm using the Too Faced Better Than Sex. This has been
06:00 my favorite one lately.
06:04 This is going to make your lower lashes really, really good as well.
06:08 Since your upper lid is so dark, you can even use
06:12 false lashes if that is your thing. I'm going to skip them because I think mine
06:16 look pretty good as it is. And I don't want it to look too dramatic.
06:20 So now I'm going to show you what I did for the rest of my face.
06:24 I'm using NARS Laguna for my bronzer. I did a video on this recently on how you can
06:28 bronze and contour at the same time. It is different.
06:32 It's hard to do both. But I just do this. It's very quick.
06:36 And it just kind of warms up your skin tone.
06:40 So I concentrate it on the contouring areas.
06:44 Then blend it onto the bronzing areas.
06:48 Most colors are still concentrated
06:52 where you would contour.
06:56 Add a bit more to the areas where you
07:00 contour. Now you've got a good blend so you don't have to
07:04 work so hard on blending that.
07:08 And we're good to go there.
07:12 Then I'm going to use the Bare Minerals Ready Blush in the shade 1.
07:16 Which I've been using a lot lately and I really do like
07:20 a lot.
07:24 I sort of already did my lighting
07:28 or my highlight products when I did my concealer.
07:32 But just for a little extra sheen. You can do this before your blush or
07:36 whatever order you want to do it in.
07:40 I use my Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Highlight Powder.
07:44 It's right there on the tops of my cheeks.
07:48 I think it just looks pretty. It just adds a little something extra.
07:52 For my lips I'm using my lip pencil by MAC in Whirl.
07:56 I'm going to keep my lips relatively nude.
08:00 I'm going to use the Bare Minerals Lipstick in Moxie.
08:04 I'm going to use my lip pencil by MAC in Whirl.
08:08 I'm going to use my lip pencil by MAC in Whirl.
08:12 I'm going to use my lip pencil by MAC in Whirl.
08:16 I'm going to use my lip pencil by MAC in Whirl.
08:20 I'm going to use my lip pencil by MAC in Whirl.
08:24 Just like the most perfect pinky nude.
08:28 If you've never tried it, it's so pretty.
08:32 And that is it. I hope that you guys enjoyed the video and that you'll try this yourselves.
08:36 And you got another little idea for what to use the Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette for.
08:40 If you needed any, I mean it's just so easy. There's so many things you can do with this.
08:44 I really enjoyed mine. If you want to see more on these,
08:48 I do have a review comparison between this and the first.
08:52 I also have another tutorial using the blue in the palette, which I really like that look as well.
08:56 Thank you guys so much for watching and I will see you very soon. Bye!
