00:10 Ever wondered why every single time you put mascara on,
00:13 it gets somewhere or it smudges or it just
00:17 doesn't separate right?
00:18 I'm here to show you today how to put mascara on the right way.
00:23 Besides having a really great mascara,
00:26 there's one other thing that's important in doing
00:28 your lashes the right way.
00:30 Sometimes a lash guard is almost essential.
00:33 When we get our mascara all over our lids
00:35 and we want to protect against that,
00:37 a lash guard is a really, really great product.
00:41 Now when you're using a lash guard,
00:42 the first step is to look down.
00:45 Then you apply the guard and you look back up.
00:47 Now you can see the lash base is right up against that guard.
00:51 Now you don't have to be afraid at applying your mascara.
00:54 In fact, you can pretty much go at it as harsh as you want.
00:58 Although, there's a really specific motion
01:01 you can also use to be safe in not applying too much.
01:07 So on this eye, we're using a Z motion
01:11 to apply that mascara to get a really even, distributed,
01:18 perfect eyelash application.
01:21 Now all you have to do is touch up just a little bit
01:24 on the bottom and a little more on the top.
01:31 And there you have a perfect mascara application.
01:42 Now your eyelashes are going to be perfect.
01:44 They're going to be separated, fluffy, long, and luscious.
