00:00 Hi, I'm Shruti, your DIY expert at Glamrs.com and today I'm going to show you this amazing
00:10 grandma certified face mask.
00:13 So I'm going to use besan which is gram flour and it's made out of chickpeas or you can
00:18 also call it as chana dal and I'm going to use malai and milk and turmeric.
00:23 So basically turmeric is haldi.
00:26 So I'm going to make a paste out of this and apply it on my face.
00:30 This face mask is basically amazing for glowing skin.
00:34 It reduces the pigmented areas instantly.
00:37 So for this face mask you will need 3 tablespoons of besan.
00:42 So I'm going to add 3 tablespoons.
00:46 Besan is really good for oily and greasy skin and if you have those pimple marks or the
00:52 you know the redness that forms after you get pimples or like acne scars, besan is just
00:58 the perfect ingredient for that.
01:00 So the next 2 ingredients that I'm going to use are my favourite ingredients and that
01:05 is malai and raw milk.
01:07 The reason why I love them is because firstly they give this natural glow to your face.
01:13 They reduce pigmentation.
01:15 They have these amazing skin brightening properties and the best thing about these ingredients
01:20 is that it keeps your skin hydrated throughout the day.
01:23 So now I'm going to add malai and you can take about a tablespoon amount.
01:35 So now I'm going to add a quarter cup of milk to this mixture.
01:44 I'm finally going to add a pinch of turmeric to this mixture.
01:52 So now I'm going to stir this mixture really well to form a fine paste.
01:58 I'm going to make sure I remove all my makeup and cleanse my face really well so that my
02:03 pores don't get clogged and I'm going to pin up my hair so that while I apply the mask
02:08 on my face it just is a very neat and not a messy process.
02:15 So now I have all my makeup off and I have pinned up my hair and I'm going to start
02:20 applying this face mask on my face.
02:24 I'm going to go over every part of my face.
02:34 Make sure you apply it on your areas which are more pigmented.
02:40 For me I guess I feel like my upper lip is a bit more pigmented than the rest of my face.
02:46 So I'm going to apply it over there.
02:50 So I have finished applying this face mask and I'm going to wait for like 10 to 15
02:56 minutes until it dries.
02:59 So as you can see I have cleansed my face and removed the face pack and I want to share
03:05 a few tips with you.
03:06 The first being that when you're removing your face pack, when you're removing the
03:10 mixture that you've put on your face, go over in circular motions.
03:14 Secondly, I would suggest that you wash your face with cold water as it helps tighten your
03:19 pores.
03:20 So the ingredients that I've used for this face mask, they are easily available in your
03:24 kitchen.
03:25 So I suggest you make a small amount of it or like a small quantity and refrigerate it
03:30 so you can use it as and when you want.
03:32 I would ideally use it once or twice a week.
03:35 I hope this video was helpful for you.
03:37 If you have any more home remedies that are really effective or that you want me to show
03:41 you any new DIYs, please write to me in the comments below.
03:45 So stay tuned and stay Glamrs.
