ALYSSA VALDEZ HOPEFUL TO PLAY AGAINST VIETNAM

Philippine national women's volleyball team captain Alyssa Valdez is hopeful that she can make her 32nd SEA Games debut against Vietnam on May 10, 2023 at the National Olympic Stadium in Phom Penh. Valdez, who hasn't played an official game since incurring a knee injury in the 2022 PVL Reinforced Conference, didn't play in the Philippine SEAG opener against Cambodia on May 9. The Filipinos overpowered the Cambodians, 25-5, 25-5, 25-5, to start their campaign on a high note.
