A new Twitter-like text app could be arriving on Meta Platforms' Instagram, according to a post from Lia Haberman's ICYMI newsletter.
Details on the feature have reportedly surfaced on calls between Meta and creators, which suggested a late June release.
Haberman, citing a creator who met with the company, reports the app will feature a single sign-in with your Instagram details. A user's handle, bio, and verification details will carry over from Instagram, according to Haberman.
Other features include text posts of up to 500 characters and the ability to attach links, photos, and videos.
