00:08 Hi guys, this is Tina from Makeup Wearables, and we're gonna start our easy back-to-school hairstyle series this week.
00:15 And to celebrate the occasion, Estella's Secret is going to donate a set of hair extensions, so be sure to check below for the giveaway rules.
00:23 So you guys can appreciate just how awesome this giveaway is.
00:27 Let me tell you guys a bit about this brand. This is a young brand owned by a celebrity hairstylist.
00:33 And what makes Estella's Secret hair extensions so unique is that, well, first of all, these are all handmade in Denmark.
00:40 And secondly, since these have only been colored twice in the factories, they are very soft and will last you twice as long.
00:47 So if you win the set, expect to keep these for at least a year to two years.
00:52 The hair quality is grade 7A, in plain English, is top of the line, meaning you won't see a single strand of gray hair or knots in your set.
01:02 And because these are such high quality hair extensions, you're not gonna have that ugly plastic shine to them.
01:08 These are gonna look like real hair for real.
01:11 And as with any decent hair extension brand, the hair is thick from top to bottom with very little shedding.
01:18 So if you're someone who never enters giveaways, and I know some of you don't bother entering giveaways, you have to enter this one. It's worth it, okay?
01:26 Okay, so for the first hairstyle, we're gonna make a ponytail with the back of our crown and then make a side part.
01:33 My Estelle set here is a lot thinner and shorter than my normal set, but it looks just as long and as thick.
01:41 I have no idea how this is possible, but it is. Can you guys see?
01:45 And then I'm gonna use the one clip weft on my crown because I have really thin hair at the top and I want my braid to be more voluminous.
01:52 And obviously the color doesn't match my roots, so I have to dye them eventually.
01:57 But you only need to do this if your hair is super fine as well and you're going to wear the hair clips at the top of your head, okay?
02:04 Okay, and now we can start French braiding our hair towards our ponytail.
02:10 To French braid, we're going to add in hair to the side strands before crossing it over the middle strand.
02:17 So we're gonna take some hair from the left side and add it to the left strand and cross it over the middle strand.
02:24 And then we're gonna take some hair from the top so we can add it to the top strand before crossing that strand over the middle strand as well.
02:32 So this is just your basic French braiding pattern.
02:36 So we're gonna continue French braiding until we get to the temporary area and then switch to a normal braid.
03:05 Now, when your braid is long enough to reach your ponytail, fluff out the braid to make it bigger and more voluminous before tying your braid and your ponytail together.
03:16 And then to hide the elastic, we're simply gonna take some hair from the right side and twist it once or twice before pinning it behind the opposite ear.
03:34 And then take some hair on the heavy side and pin it over the previous bobby pin.
03:39 If you guys try this, Instagram it with #MWHairstyle so I can see you.
03:44 Put your crown in one side into a high ponytail like this and then just clip it out of the way.
03:51 Now, take the side that's left and make a regular braid towards the back.
03:55 Next, make sure you have a hair clip handy because you're gonna need it for this.
04:01 Okay, so next, take a thin vertical section or a thick one. This depends on how much time you have in the morning to get ready.
04:08 And then twist it at least twice.
04:10 Then, insert two fingers through one of the stitches in the braid.
04:14 So we can grab the hair through it and pull through. Okay?
04:20 So again, all I'm doing here, guys, is inserting two of my fingers through the braid and grabbing the hair.
04:29 If you're having trouble grabbing the hair, all you need to do is instead of twisting it twice or three times,
04:35 twist it as tightly as you can and then pull it through. It's simple as that.
04:39 And when you stick your fingers through it, always make sure you're doing it in the same direction
04:44 and that you're not twisting the braid as you're doing it. Okay?
04:47 So we're gonna repeat this until all the hair is through the braid.
04:57 Then, we're gonna undo the ponytail and then incorporate all the hair that's under the clip into the ponytail to make a new ponytail.
05:05 But just make sure you leave the braid out of it. Okay?
05:08 Then, wrap the braid around the elastic and we're done.

05:34 To turn this into a bun style, simply use your favorite bun method instead of the ponytail.
05:39 I like to twist my hair once or twice before scrunching it upwards from bottom up
05:44 to make it more voluminous before simply wrapping it around the base of the ponytail.

06:01 And for this last hairstyle, I'm going to lightly tease the back of my head and use two of the clips from Estelle Secrets' hair extension set.
06:08 Now, divide all the hair below your ears to create three normal braids.
06:12 [Music]
06:21 Then, we're simply gonna wrap all of our hair around the headband, leaving out the braids.

06:57 When all of your loose hair is wrapped, then we wrap the braids as well.
07:01 And this should create a very pretty textured headband hairstyle for us.

07:22 And we're done.
