00:00 Hey guys, so today I'm going to be doing an old Hollywood glam makeup and hair inspired
00:25 tutorial.
00:26 There's not much to say about it.
00:28 It's pretty self explanatory.
00:29 You know, I am super excited to be doing this though.
00:31 It has been on my list of things to do for so long and it's been so highly requested.
00:35 And it also includes a cut crease on the eyes, which I am so excited to finally be doing
00:40 because it's very strange that I do not have a cut crease tutorial at all here on my channel.
00:44 So I'm very excited to finally be getting around to that for those of you who have been
00:47 asking to see a cut crease tutorial.
00:49 This is all matte, all neutral.
00:50 It's going to look glamorous and beautiful on everybody.
00:52 It's absolutely timeless.
00:53 So yeah, I hope that you guys enjoy.
00:56 Thank you so much for watching.
00:57 I love you guys and I'll see you soon.
00:58 Bye.
00:58 Hey guys.
00:59 So the first thing I'm going to be doing today as always is priming my eyes.
01:04 I am using MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in the shade NW20.
01:07 This is my favorite way to prime because it conceals any blood vessels or veins or redness
01:12 while priming for eyeshadow at the same time.
01:14 You do whatever you're comfortable with though when it comes to priming the eyes.
01:17 Then I'm going to go in with Bamboo.
01:19 This is an eyeshadow by MAC Cosmetics.
01:21 It is a really, really light shade.
01:24 So very easy to put in that crease for a transition color.
01:26 I am using a Sigma E38 which is an amazing brush because it's nice and small but yet
01:31 it's still a blending brush.
01:33 As you can see, I am putting this only on that upper crease area and I'm not going to
01:36 get any of it on the lid.
01:38 Then I will go back with an E40 brush again from Sigma and just blend that back and forth
01:42 in windshield wiper circular motions.
01:45 We don't want to get this on the lid but even though we're going to have a harsh cut crease,
01:48 we still want everything above that cut crease to be very blended.
01:51 Then I'm going to go in with Wedge.
01:52 This is another color by MAC Cosmetics and this is more on the cool side.
01:56 Using that same E38, I'm going to go right over that Bamboo color.
02:00 The reason that I wanted to put Wedge in there as well is because it's going to really neutralize
02:04 that eye area because I do not want it to be too warm or too cool but very neutral.
02:08 So the exact same steps, just blending it out.
02:11 Then I'm going to go in with Ground Brown.
02:13 This is another brown shade by MAC Cosmetics.
02:16 It's very dark.
02:17 And this time I'm going to be using an angled, technically eyeliner or eyebrow brush.
02:22 This one I think is by Anastasia Beverly Hills.
02:24 You can use whatever you want.
02:25 I'm literally going to carve out that crease as you can see me doing and then I will go
02:29 in with a pencil brush and just blend back and forth.
02:33 I would suggest putting a little bit of Wedge on that pencil brush when you're blending
02:36 it out and not going in with a clean brush because that might just kind of chop it up
02:39 a little bit.
02:40 Sorry I'm a little blurry but it's the exact same thing.
02:43 We're just going to lightly carve out that crease and if you don't have a crease or if
02:46 you don't have like a really indented line in your crease area, just go ahead and create
02:50 one for yourself.
02:51 You don't have to have a crease in order to do this.
02:54 Then I'll just go back and continue blending back and forth, back and forth.
02:58 You can bring this cut crease as far into the inner corner as you want.
03:02 I didn't bring it all the way in but I brought it pretty close.
03:04 Then I'm going to go in with MAC Blanc Type.
03:07 This is a very pigmented, very matte, creamy, white, ivory eyeshadow as you can see.
03:12 Using a flat brush, this is a MAC 242 brush.
03:15 I'm all about MAC life today apparently.
03:16 I'm going to pack this all over that entire lid.
03:20 Using a really pigmented eyeshadow like this will also help make that cut crease even more
03:23 defined because you can take this shadow up and really put it in that entire crease area
03:28 and make it look even more harsh which is the first time I think I'm ever using the
03:32 word harsh when it comes to my eyeshadow.
03:35 We do want that crease to be harsh and we want everything above it to be very blended
03:38 and very blown out as you can see.
03:42 Now I'm going to be doing my eyeliner and I'm using Morphe Gel Liner in black.
03:46 I just prefer gel liner over liquid.
03:48 I feel like I have so much more control over it and I love this Morphe eyeliner.
03:51 It's very pigmented and very black.
03:53 You don't have to go over it 500 times to get it to actually be as black as you want.
03:57 I am using a Sigma E65 brush.
04:00 This might technically be a brow brush but shh don't tell anybody.
04:03 I use it for eyeliner.
04:04 I absolutely love this brush.
04:05 It's my favorite brush to apply eyeliner with and what I do is I make a line from the outer
04:10 corner of my eye up towards the tail of my brow and then I just connect basically the
04:15 line from the outer tail of my brow to the inner corner of my eye and then I just fill
04:19 it in like connect the dots.
04:20 I've been doing my eyeliner like this for about a year and it's my favorite way.
04:24 It doesn't fail.
04:25 It works every time.
04:26 I'm going to be giving my lashes a quick coat of mascara.
04:30 I'm using MAC Gigablack Lash and then I'm going to be going in with lashes.
04:34 I am using Velour Lash in the style Strike a Pose.
04:37 I do have a discount code for you guys that I'll put in my description box down below
04:41 if you're interested.
04:42 Strike a Pose are one of my favorite lashes ever for just like an evening where you want
04:46 to look elegant and glamorous because they're nice and dense and full and fluffy but yet
04:51 they're not too long and too intense.
04:53 They look like you have lashes on but in the best way possible.
04:56 They're just very girly and very feminine.
04:58 Then I'm going to be priming my face with Tarte Clean Slate Flawless.
05:01 This is a 12 hour brightening primer.
05:03 I don't usually prime my face but today I was trying to get as much moisture in my skin
05:07 as possible because my skin has been extra dry this past week and so I am using that
05:12 for that purpose.
05:13 Then I'm going to be going in with Giorgio Armani Illuminist Silk Foundation.
05:17 I wanted to use the Smashbox Studio Skin Foundation today for a much more matte look for that
05:22 really old Hollywood retro glamorous look but again my skin was so dry I just couldn't.
05:28 I am using a Morphe G6 brush to apply my foundation.
05:32 It's nice, it's small, it's dense and what I love about this brush is that it doesn't
05:35 pack on too much product because it is so small and so dense so it's really great for
05:40 foundation.
05:41 I am using a MAC Pro Longwear Concealer.
05:43 Yay!
05:44 An oldie but a goodie and I am going to be blending that out with a damp beauty blender.
05:49 Make sure you get your beauty blender damp before you use it because that is what it
05:52 is made for and it will make your under eye concealer really nice and sheared out so that
05:57 you don't cake too much on because if you're like me and you can be a little heavy handed
06:00 when it comes to your concealer, a damp beauty blender will really pick up that excess product
06:05 and make it so that you do not have cake face underneath the eyes.
06:08 I'm going to even out that highlight by putting a little bit of it on my chin area and also
06:13 on the center of my forehead.
06:15 This will just kind of evenly distribute that highlight throughout the face so that you
06:18 do not just have this under eye highlight and then nothing else.
06:20 It just evens it out.
06:21 Then I'm just going to set that under eye area with Anastasia Banana Powder.
06:26 This is from her contour kit.
06:27 You can also buy this individually now on her website and I'm just going to set that
06:31 entire under eye area from inner corner to outer corner.
06:34 This is a must for me otherwise I will become a creasy mess no matter what concealer I use.
06:39 Then I'm going to use a Makeup Forever concealer just to cover up a couple blemishes I have
06:43 because I used a detox mask last week and my skin was not too fond of it so that is
06:49 why I'm incredibly dry and woke up with painful breakouts the next day so I have some friends
06:54 on my face right now and we're going to hide them.
06:56 Moving on.
06:57 Now I'm going to be filling in my brows and I'm not going to elaborate on it too in depth.
07:02 We're going to scan over it pretty quickly because so many of you have asked for an updated
07:05 brow routine so I will be filming and sharing that with you guys very soon.
07:09 I am using an Anastasia Brow Wiz though to fill in my brows which is my absolute ride
07:14 or die when it comes to brows.
07:16 It's my brow lover.
07:18 And my husband is giving me a nice cold Izzy.
07:20 If you guys don't know what this is, go out and get it.
07:22 It is the best drink ever.
07:23 We are slightly addicted.
07:25 Then I'm going to be going in with Mylar.
07:27 This is another eyeshadow by MAC and I'm going to be highlighting that brow bone.
07:31 Mylar is one of my favorite shades ever by MAC.
07:34 It's so simplistic and it has this glisten and this gleam to it without having any glitter
07:39 or shimmer.
07:40 It is just absolutely beautiful and it's great for mature women who are looking for a highlight
07:44 without wanting shimmer or glitter.
07:46 Then I'm going to be taking Ground Brown again and putting it on the lower lash line only
07:51 in the outer corner of the eye.
07:53 Right where it meets up with that winged eyeliner.
07:55 I'm putting it really densely into that lower lash line and then I will just go in and buff
08:00 it out back and forth.
08:01 I want the color to really only be on the outer corner of the eye and not all the way
08:06 in because I don't want this to look too smoky.
08:08 Then I'm going to take that same Mylar shadow and pop it in the inner corner just for a
08:12 nice bright eyed doe eye effect.
08:16 Once we have done that, I am going to just go ahead and put a thin coat of mascara on
08:20 my lower lashes.
08:21 I do have really long lashes on my lower lash line so I have to be really careful because
08:25 I really don't want the lashes to steal the show but I did have to put some mascara on
08:30 them but as little as possible will do the trick.
08:33 Now I'm going to be using Makeup Forever bronzer in the shade 20 to contour my face.
08:37 I am using a Makeup Geek brush to do this.
08:40 I think it's technically a blush brush but you know me, I'm a rule breaker so I'm going
08:45 to use it to contour.
08:46 I'm just sculpting out underneath of that cheekbone, taking it back toward the temple
08:50 and blending upward.
08:52 You always want to blend upward when you're contouring and never downward otherwise it
08:55 will defeat the purpose of sculpting out your cheekbones.
08:58 Then I'm going to just put that all over the temples and the forehead.
09:01 This again, just like highlighting, will bring it all together and evenly distribute it.
09:05 Then I'm going to be using Ambient Lighting blush.
09:07 This is by Hourglass in the shade Diffused Heat and I'm going to be blending that on
09:11 the apples of the cheeks back toward that contour.
09:15 It's so beautiful and it really gives you a glow from within effect which you guys know,
09:19 I'm all about that life.
09:20 I'm just blending it out to make sure that there are no harsh lines and those cheeks
09:24 are nice and blended.
09:25 Then I'm going to be going in with NYX lip liner in the shade Hot Red.
09:30 I really do like NYX lip liners.
09:32 I have to say, for like a nice cheap drugstore lip liner, I think that these are really great.
09:37 So I'm just going to be lining my lips as you naturally would.
09:40 I'm not really doing anything crazy or over lining them or anything like that.
09:43 I'm just going to line them like I typically would and fill them in completely and then
09:47 I'm going to go in with a red lipstick and I couldn't decide which one I wanted to do
09:50 but I decided to use Gerard Cosmetics Fire Engine.
09:54 It's actually the perfect time to tell you guys that I do have a limited 35% off discount
09:59 code for you.
10:00 I will put all the description for that in my description box down below.
10:03 It's only going to be lasting for about four days.
10:06 So if you want to try any of the products from Gerard Cosmetics, check that out in the
10:09 description box.
10:11 So now that we are done with this look, yes we're done.
10:14 It's pretty easy peasy, right?
10:15 I think it is.
10:16 We're going to be moving on to hair.
10:18 Oh, this hot mess of a hair.
10:20 I'm going to be clipping in extensions today because let's get real, you guys know that
10:23 was not all me in the intro.
10:24 I am using Bellami Lily Hair.
10:27 This is 260 grams of hair and 20 inches long.
10:33 So it's a lot of hair.
10:34 What I'm going to be doing is clipping in a total of three wefts and I clip and I curl
10:39 as I go.
10:40 So I'm going to be taking the Bellami 6 in 1 Curler.
10:43 I've raved about this so many times.
10:45 It is the best curling iron ever and I am going to curl all of my hair forward.
10:50 Instead of like I would typically curl it away from my face, I'm going to be curling
10:54 it towards my face and that's all it takes to get that old Hollywood glam retro wave
10:59 look is just to curl it towards the face.
11:01 I am using the biggest barrel that the 6 in 1 comes with so they're nice and big and fluffy.
11:08 And as you can see, I am spraying my hair with hairspray as I go.
11:11 I'm using the Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Hairspray.
11:14 This is the Soya one at all.
11:16 And I will just give like a light coat of hairspray every few strands just to kind of
11:19 give that like a nice tight hold so that when we are done with all of this, it doesn't just
11:23 fall flat because my hair naturally wants to be flat as a board.
11:28 So now that we have gotten up towards the top of the head and we are only working on
11:31 my natural hair now, we have clipped in a total of three wefts which is really all I
11:35 need because this hair is just so thick.
11:38 It's incredible.
11:39 I'm just going to curl my natural hair like I've curled the rest of it and I'm going to
11:43 give myself a part that's pretty far over to the side to really give that intense thick
11:48 bang to look extra glamorous.
11:51 Then I'm just going to brush through all of my hair.
11:53 I'm using a Tangle Teaser.
11:54 Any brush will do though.
11:56 And then I will just fluff it up and we are completely good to go when it comes to the
12:00 hair.
12:01 It is easy peasy.
12:02 You can do some teasing if you want.
12:03 I just used a bunch of hairspray and just fluffed it up.
12:06 Then to complete this look, I just wanted to go in with a little bit of Gerard Cosmetics
12:10 Gloss in the shade Summer Sun for just a little extra touch of glam for that glossy lip.
12:15 And once we are done with that, our look is complete.
12:18 So I hope you guys enjoyed this video.
12:20 Thank you so much for watching.
12:21 I love you and I'll see you soon.
12:23 Bye.
12:23 But to live forever with his guilt, as white money has left a bank, twist the bones and
12:48 the back ends to bring him on his baby back.
12:55 Make the top of the man commit to a beautiful relax, just like this.
13:04 I have all been cursed because of all the witches working and the worst.
