00:15 So before I put any makeup on, I like to put my hair up in a bun so it's out of my face.
00:20 And also having my hair up while I do my makeup will leave extra volume for me to have when I'm doing my hair.
00:26 And then before I put any foundation on, I like using a moisturizer and a primer.
00:31 That way my face isn't dry and the foundation stays on better.
00:35 And it goes on well because if your face is dry, it'll just look uneven.
00:39 And to apply all of these, I just use my fingers to gently blend in.
00:43 I don't really use brushes or anything too fancy.
00:46 And then next, I'm just going to use the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder to set all of it and mattify my foundation.
00:54 So that way it's not shiny.
00:56 Before applying eyeshadow, I like using this white jumbo eye pencil as a base for the colors to stay on better and pop out more.
01:05 And I put this mostly on my lid and my inner crease.
01:09 And then I just blend it out with my ring finger.
01:12 So, first color I'm going to be using is this dark brown.
01:18 And I'm putting this into my crease.
01:20 And it doesn't have to be perfect, but mainly focus on your outer crease.
01:24 And then we'll be going in with a blending brush.
01:27 So right now it looks kind of crazy, but I'm just going to go in with my blending brush.
01:32 And mainly blend out the edges so they're not so harsh.
01:35 And it creates this smoky effect.
01:47 Once I'm done blending, it looks something like this.
01:50 And then I'm just going to go back in with my jumbo eye pencil to highlight my lid and my inner corner.
01:56 Since the colors would be kind of faded from the crease.
01:59 And this will just brighten up my eyes a little bit more.
02:02 So that's pretty much it for the eyeshadow portion.
02:07 So now I'm going to line my eyes with this liquid liner.
02:11 And I'm doing a cat eye look.
02:13 And I have a more thorough tutorial on how to do this cat eye look if you don't know how to already.
02:18 And I will link that below if you want a step by step tutorial to go off of.
02:24 I personally like to fill in my brows.
02:32 So before I do, I use this spoolie brush to brush through my brow hairs.
02:38 And then I use my eyeshadow here in a lighter color to fill in my brows.
02:43 So that way they're not too dark.
02:45 And I like to fill this part of my brow, kind of the inwards part, the inner half, with this lighter color.
02:54 And then I go in with a darker color for the arch and the ends of my eyebrows.
03:00 And then with a pencil, I like to run it along my arch.
03:07 And my ends of my eyebrows, which defines it even more and just makes it look a lot more cleaner and has a better shape.
03:15 And before I apply mascara, I like to curl my lashes because they stick pretty much straight out.
03:21 And well, my hand like twitched. That was weird.
03:23 And then I just apply some mascara on my upper lashes and my lower lashes.
03:32 And once I've done that, I'm just going to apply this concealer under my circles.
03:37 What? Under my... For my under eye circles.
03:40 And then on any blemishes.
03:43 And I like to wear fall suits for these type of occasions.
03:47 So if you want to learn more about how to wear fall suits, I do have a tutorial for that which I will link below.
03:53 And then I'm just going in with some bronzer to warm up my face.
03:58 Which I add on my cheekbones and the sides of my face, along my forehead and my jawline.
04:05 And this is how I personally like to apply bronzer.
04:08 I feel like it adds a warmth to my face that isn't too contoured looking or unnatural looking.
04:14 So if you have a certain way you want to contour, go ahead and do that.
04:17 But this is how I do it.
04:19 And then just so that way my natural lashes and my falsies aren't two separate lash lines,
04:26 I like to curl my lashes so it looks more natural.
04:31 And then as a final touch, I'm just applying this lipstick here for a pop of color.
04:38 And it adds a little bit more liveliness to my face.
04:42 Lately I've been obsessed with dark colors.
04:44 So yeah, that's basically it for the makeup look.
04:47 And next I'll be showing you guys how I did my hair.
04:51 So I'm using this wand here by NuMe.
04:54 And it is part of the Lustrum set.
04:56 It's a 32mm and I will link that below.
04:59 And I like to use this for my bigger waves.
05:02 And I section off my hair so that way it's easier to work on.
05:06 And this also gives me more volume by working in layers.
05:09 So starting with my bottom layer, I like to take about a 2 inch section or so.
05:14 And wrap this around my curling iron in an outwards motion.
05:18 And I just continue the same thing throughout my whole entire layer.
05:23 And also I maintain this direction of an outwards direction throughout my whole entire hair.
05:28 So that way I feel like it goes away from my face which frames it a lot better.
05:33 Once I'm finished with this layer, I like to spray some hairspray through it.
05:39 And kind of comb through and separate the curls.
05:42 And then I put them down and work on my next section of hair.
05:52 And I do the same idea with this outwards motion in 2 inch sections.
05:56 Except I hold these curls a little bit longer.
06:00 And I have them a little bit more towards my scalp.
06:03 That way there's more volume than doing the longer layers.
06:06 And then again I just put them down and spray some hairspray through them.
06:19 And separate the curls.
06:21 And I kind of do this thing where I cup them up with my hands and bounce them around.
06:26 Because I feel like that separates and adds more volume as well.
06:29 And as I start curling hair closer to my face, I like to hold these curls a little longer.
06:37 Because that way there's more volume.
06:39 And also curl smaller sections so they're not too big and they don't flatten out as fast.

06:55 [music]
06:57 [music]
07:02 [music]
07:07 [music]
07:10 [music]
07:14 [music]
07:21 So once I'm done with this layer, I just hairspray through it.
07:25 And then I kind of finger through the curls to separate them.
07:30 And then I do that bouncing thing I always do.
07:32 And that's basically it for like the bottom layer.
07:36 And then I just have to do the top.
07:38 [music]
07:40 [music]
07:43 [music]
07:46 [music]
07:50 [music]
07:52 [music]
07:55 And one thing you can do after you curl a piece of hair is put it on the other side of your head.
08:01 So that way when it cools down, the roots are lifted up more because they're being flipped away in the opposite direction.
08:08 So that way there's more volume building up from the roots.
08:11 [music]
08:14 [music]
08:19 So after I've pretty much curled through all of my hair, I like to just go back and I just completely spray it in my eye.
08:26 But I like to go back and just look for pieces that may need some curling that I might have missed.
08:33 Or maybe for areas that need more volume.
08:36 But I just hairspray through everything and just kind of bounce my hair around.
08:43 And then I look for these pieces that I need to curl again.
08:47 [music]
08:49 [music]
08:52 And when I curl these sections, I mainly focus on the top parts near my roots because I don't care as much for the bottom.
09:00 Because mainly where you're going to see the volume is in the top part of your hair.
09:05 [music]
09:08 [music]
09:11 [music]
09:15 [music]
09:17 And that's basically it. And I just put some extra hairspray in just so the curls hold a little bit better.
09:24 And I do this whole cupping thing that I keep doing because it adds more volume.
09:28 And then I'm adding this texturizing spray to add a little bit of more texture.
09:32 And it just smells super good so I wanted to add that.
09:35 And then I just flip my hair from side to side and just run my fingers through my hair to add more volume.
09:43 And yeah.
09:45 [music]
09:48 So this is what my hair looks like after I've curled all of it.
09:55 And from the back it looks like this.
09:58 And I do think that working in layers while you curl your hair adds a lot more volume.
10:03 And it makes it look a lot better. So next time you curl your hair, I definitely advise that.
10:09 So for my birthday we went on a walk around the city and we went shopping.
10:14 So I wanted to wear something comfortable, casual, but not too casual since it was a special occasion.
10:19 My necklace is just a gold chain necklace with little daisies.
10:23 And I have this flowy pink shirt with a lace bandeau.
10:27 And high-waisted dark denim jeans and these comfy boots.
10:31 And I covered up with this comfy cardigan in a kind of oatmeal color.
10:36 And everything I'm wearing is from Forever 21 except my jeans which were from PacSun.
10:41 And we have like...
10:44 [laughter]
10:46 I do.
10:48 [laughter]
10:52 That is a nice car. Can you see that?
10:57 Do one of those nerdy kids that walk really fast.
11:00 [laughter]
11:05 Is that a good one?
11:07 Sort of. You forgot to hunch your back over.
11:10 Where's the socks?
11:18 Actually, it's pretty good at swimming socks.
11:33 You're in our vlog. Say hi.
11:35 [laughter]
11:37 The view is awesome. I wish I lived here.
11:45 Say hi!
11:48 You're in our vlog.
11:51 Say hi. Hi!
11:54 Say hi.
11:57 They don't want to say hi to you.
11:59 Say hello.
12:01 Hello.
12:03 I feel like people don't want to be in our vlog.
12:06 So upsetting. We'll find people who want to be in our vlog.
12:09 We're just like invisible, you know?
12:11 People are just like, "Do I hear something?"
12:14 Every time we walk in here, it smells like...
12:18 vlogging.
12:20 Just being awkward.
12:22 People are looking at me.
12:26 Just being here.
12:30 Get on the bicycle thing.
12:32 What is that called? A moped?
12:34 Bye, guys.
