Ariana Grande Inspired Makeup, Hair, & Outfit

00:03 Just in case you didn't already know,
00:13 I'm doing an Ariana Grande inspired look, which includes
00:16 her hair, makeup, and outfit.
00:18 [MUSIC PLAYING]
00:23 Starting with her hair, you're going
00:25 to want to make a really, really, really deep side part,
00:27 which you can see me doing here.
00:28 Because she tends to rock that a lot.
00:31 Then for her half up, half down look,
00:33 you're just going to want to take a little bit of hair back
00:36 and then take out some bangs in the front.
00:38 Then you're just going to want to smooth out
00:40 all the hair you took back.
00:41 And then tie it in a little ponytail.
00:45 She usually has quite a bit of volume going on,
00:47 so I just hair sprayed my hair and then took my brush
00:49 and poofed it up.
00:51 Because I don't know how to use my hair.
00:52 So that's as good as it gets.
00:56 Then for the bangs, I just split that into two
00:58 and twist them around each other and then pinned it back.

01:10 I think we're all aware of how awesome Ariana's curls are.
01:13 So I tried to do that.
01:14 And I just kind of curled them away from my face
01:17 and then put them in the palm of my hand
01:19 and took a little bobby pin and kind of stuck the curl
01:21 together.
01:22 So I left it in place.
01:22 Oh, hi, dad.
01:24 So I would leave it there until I was ready to release the curl.
01:27 And of course, I did this all over my head
01:32 because I don't want to just have
01:33 random curls all over the place.
01:35 So yeah, I kept them in place with the bobby pin
01:37 and let them cool so they would set in a really nice,
01:40 perfect curl like she has them.
01:44 So here you can see me taking out the little bobby pins.
01:46 And the curls are so perfectly curled.
01:49 And they look just like hers if my hair was longer.
01:52 Whoops.
01:53 And then I hairsprayed it to keep them in place.
01:56 This is what the hair ended up looking like.
01:58 I love it.
01:58 Sorry, my head is cut off.
02:00 But my baby hairs are embarrassing.

02:07 For the makeup, I put my Fit Me foundation all over my face.
02:10 And then I rubbed it all in because I
02:12 don't want to look weird.
02:14 And then I put some on my neck because I
02:15 needed to blend nicely.
02:17 And another layer on my face because her face
02:18 is literally flawless.

02:26 As usual, to set my foundation, I'm
02:27 taking my MAC Studio Fix and putting that all over my face.

02:34 Next, I'm using this super pretty pink blush
02:36 from my Starlux October Box.
02:38 It's an amazing company.

02:42 And then I'm just contouring my cheeks
02:44 with this pretty bronzer.

02:48 Oh, and I guess I'm also contouring
02:50 the rest of my face.
02:51 But whatever.
02:52 And then here I am contouring my nose
02:53 because her nose is really slim and just really perfect.
02:56 So I have to fix mine.

03:02 I'm also going to be highlighting my cheekbones.
03:04 So I'm using this little sample size from NARS,
03:07 which is-- I actually love it.
03:08 And I'm putting it on my nose and my cheekbones
03:10 to give it a nice little look.

03:16 Apparently, I have second day eye makeup still on.
03:18 But oh well.
03:19 Anyways, I'm taking my Naked Basics palette
03:21 and using the very first color, which is
03:22 like a nice shimmery cream color.
03:26 Then I'm using my Gimme Brow by Benefit
03:29 to fill in my eyebrows.
03:30 And let me tell you, I am so obsessed with this product.
03:32 It is so awesome.
03:34 For the lips, I'm taking two colors
03:36 and then meshing them together.
03:38 So I got this little set from Sephora.
03:40 I don't really know what it's called.
03:41 I'm really sorry.
03:42 But I might have a link below.
03:44 So just check the description.
03:46 And I am just mixing these two colors together
03:48 to give a really nice pinky color.
03:50 For my lashes, I'm taking my new obsession, which
03:55 is my Butterfly Lash Up mascara.
03:57 And I'm putting that on my top and lower lashes.
03:59 And this is the final makeup look.
04:07 For the outfit, I kind of took inspiration
04:09 from her The Way music video, but kind of.
04:12 I didn't really have a black dress that was similar to her.
04:14 So I took this black romper, which I got from this really
04:17 cool website.
04:18 I'll have a link in the description.
04:19 And then I paired it with some burgundy high socks from H&M.
