00:00 Hello friends! How are you? I'm so excited to see you guys!
00:03 I just realized I didn't fill in my brows.
00:07 Give me a quick moment.
00:12 Alrighty, so now that my brows are on,
00:15 I am filming this tutorial for you guys today. It's just a nice
00:18 orange eye look. I didn't fill in my face so
00:21 I just wanted to give you guys a nice little summery eye look. I really like how it turned out.
00:26 So yeah, you wanna watch me, you know,
00:29 put some stuff on my eyelids. Just keep watching.
00:34 Alright, let's get started. So the first thing we want to be doing
00:39 is I'm going to go ahead and use a primer that I didn't really like at first
00:44 but I am gonna retry it. It's the Stay Don't Stray
00:48 by Benefit in Light Medium.
00:51 There it is.
00:57 I'm gonna go ahead and use this because they have more shades since this is in light medium.
01:04 I'm always conflicted whether I want to use Makeup Geek or Morphe.
01:17 It's like they both have
01:20 neutral shades that I love.
01:24 I'm gonna use both of these today.
01:29 A big fluffy brush with this in it here.
01:33 That is Makeup Geek's Beaches in it Cream.
01:36 I'm just gonna put this in my crease as a transition shade.
01:43 Just to make everything blend out easier and make everything
01:47 look smooth and flawless.
01:51 Also, putting down a transition color like this makes
01:54 other colors that you put on top of it easier to blend as well
01:58 because you already have a nice base
02:02 to blend it into. I'm digging it.
02:06 I'm going to basically be doing the same thing.
02:10 This is the Jaclyn Hill palette by Morphe.
02:13 I'm gonna be taking this shade right here.
02:20 I'm just gonna be going in with the Sigma Blending E25 brush with no additional product
02:27 on it and just blending that out.
02:41 I feel like you really can't go wrong in an eye look if you just keep layering and blending.
02:49 It's when you don't blend.
02:50 Oh, oh, oh! Did you see that?
02:53 I think it's one of my dress marks.
02:56 I'm going to be taking this shade I believe.
03:00 Oh, this one right there.
03:05 And on that same E25 brush, I'm just gonna be taking it.
03:10 I'm using a smaller brush with darker colors so that I'm not putting the product all over
03:17 my eye. Where I blended the other ones with the large brush, I got it on a wider surface
03:22 area. With this one, I just want to direct the product into a specific area. I don't
03:27 want it to just be going everywhere.
03:31 I want to keep it in one general area. That way it looks nice and blended and it's not
03:35 just a nice, huge splotch of color all over my eyelid.
03:40 If that makes any sense.
03:46 I'm taking it in my crease like this. I'm sorry, like this. Now I'm going to turn the
03:50 brush this way and blend it out.
03:56 Blending just ensures that you have no harsh lines and you just have a nice, blended, even
04:02 gradient of color on your eyelid.
04:09 Okay so I'm pretty sure how that looks now.
04:11 I'm going to start by taking the concealer F70 brush by Sigma and I'm going to be going
04:17 in with the foiled eyeshadow in Flame Thrower by Makeup Geek. It is like a copper shimmer
04:26 foiled eyeshadow.
04:27 I'm taking this with my brush and I always apply foiled eyeshadows with my finger but
04:35 I'm just starting out with a brush just so that I can direct where the product is going
04:40 in the first place and then I can go in.
04:44 This thing is just not working out today.
04:47 Okay yeah, so as I was saying, I'm just laying this down with my brush first to just get
04:51 like a basic application of the color and then I'm going to go in with my finger later
04:57 for the...
04:58 Oh my god!
05:03 My brush handle just dug into my bronzer.
05:07 I do not like that.
05:10 Okay.
05:12 So I'm kind of just like packing on the color with this brush and then I'm going to go in
05:19 with my finger like I said and just get the most out of it.
05:23 So I usually just use my ring finger because it's small but has, you know, like if I were
05:30 to use my pinky it would be way too small than I would like.
05:33 Do you see how that differs from one eye to the other?
05:36 Like this eye you can obviously see that flame thrower.
05:40 Your finger in my opinion gives off, oh my god, the best pigment.
05:48 It translates so much better from the pan to your lid if you use your finger.
05:58 So I'm just going to go in with my finger and just get the most out of it.
06:05 I'm going to go in with my finger and just get the most out of it.
06:10 I'm going to go in with my finger and just get the most out of it.
06:16 I'm going to go in with my finger and just get the most out of it.
06:22 I'm going to go in with my finger and just get the most out of it.
06:29 I'm going to go in with my finger and just get the most out of it.
06:36 I'm going to go in with my finger and just get the most out of it.
06:42 I'm going to go in with my finger and just get the most out of it.
06:48 It's not too dark to where you can use it on an everyday basis,
06:52 but it is just dark enough to where you can emphasize your crease without it getting too crazy.
07:00 And just be careful when you put on shadows after you put on a foiled eyeshadow
07:04 because it will blend the color out and it might not be as intense as when you first applied it.
07:12 So just keep that in mind with anything going on the lid.
07:16 Once you put something on the crease and you're blending that out,
07:19 it's not going to look the same as when you first applied it.
07:21 As you can see, this one looks way less intense than this one
07:25 because I was blending that cocoa bear shade inside the crease.
07:30 We're going to go back in and touch that up, so I've got no worries.
07:38 Do you know how beautiful this shade would be in the crease right now?
07:42 That orange shade, I'm taking it.
07:44 You know which shade I'm talking about, this one right here.
07:47 Right on top. Loving it.
07:49 I'm going to take that on a small tapered blending brush, E45 by Sigma.
07:53 I love doing this when I'm taking the deepest color that I have,
07:57 maybe like a black or even the darkest shade that I'm putting in the crease,
08:01 and doing it this way, but since I don't want this orange to be everywhere,
08:05 I want it to be in one concentrated area, that's why I'm taking this brush and doing this.
08:11 I just want a subtle hint of orange inside the crease,
08:17 just to bring it all together with the flamethrower and everything.
08:21 I think it gives it a lot more warmth to the look, and I really like that.
08:31 And then you always want to go back in with a big blending brush and just blend it all out.
08:38 I'm going to do this right now before I touch up the flamethrower,
08:41 just so that, you know, I don't need to retouch it up even later.
08:54 Back on my ring finger again.
08:59 I'm going to try to be a little bit more careful, that way I don't get it all over my face this time.
09:14 My headband's sliding off. Actually, I think that's a perfect placement,
09:17 because it holds all those suckers in place.
09:22 Okay, and I'm happy with that effect for my eyes, so now I'm going to be moving on to the face.
09:28 So since this is just an eye tutorial, I just went ahead and did the rest of my face,
09:33 and now we're going to be going back into the eyes.
09:37 I'm going to be doing the lower lash line now.
09:41 I'm going to be taking the flat definer brush, the E15.
09:46 I'm just going to be going in with the same shade that we used underneath in the crease, which is this one right here.
10:04 I'm just pressing that pretty tightly close to the lash line.
10:11 So then I'm going to blend it out with a pencil brush and some of Makeup Geek's Peaches and Cream.
10:35 And yes, the face has a star.
10:40 I'm going to be going in with Cocoa Bear by Makeup Geek on the same pencil brush.
10:45 I'm just going underneath my lash line and just smoking it up.
10:59 Okay, I'm going to be going in with the Tattoo Liner by Kat Von D.
11:03 I'm just going to be drawing a really thin line.
11:09 I don't want to take away from the foiled eyeshadow.
11:15 I just want to add some dimension to my eye.
11:28 Okay, so my eyeliner is now complete, and now I'm going to curl my lashes and do my mascara.
11:36 And yeah.
11:47 I'm going to be using the Georgiana Best Lash Extreme.
12:11 Okay, so this is the finished look.
12:13 I hope you guys enjoyed this eye makeup tutorial using the Makeup Geek Foiled Eyeshadow in Flamethrower.
12:19 I will see you in my next video.
12:21 Of course, leave suggestions in the comment section down below.
12:25 Thank you guys so much for watching.
