00:00 Hi, my name is Sohal and I'm going to show you how I do my makeup.
00:05 Not everyday, but more like when I'm going out with friends and going somewhere, but not when I'm going out to a party.
00:11 So this is less than that, but more than everyday. If you know what I mean.
00:16 But it's going to be in English, so I'm just going to say hi.
00:22 Hi guys, I'm just going to quickly show you guys how I do my makeup.
00:26 Not on an everyday basis, but more like if I'm going somewhere with my friends, just for dinner or out shopping.
00:33 I wouldn't do this when I'm going out clubbing, because it's not as much as that, I guess.
00:39 But it is more than everyday makeup.
00:42 So I start off with my Stay Matte Primer, because I've got really oily skin.
00:47 This is from Rimmel. I don't really know what I think about this.
00:51 My makeup does stay on longer, but I don't feel like it is as good as some people have hyped it up in the past.
01:00 My makeup stays on longer. It doesn't stay matte at all.
01:06 I get really oily in this area, so it doesn't really do much for me.
01:11 But because it's summer anyways, I'm not really going to put on a lot of foundation.
01:16 I'm going to use a BB cream from Garnier.
01:19 This is Miracle Skin Perfector in the colour Medium.
01:25 I'm just going to put a little bit of this on.
01:29 Like that much.
01:33 With my Real Techniques buffing brush, I guess.
01:40 I'm sorry, this is my first makeup video, so I don't really know what I'm doing.
01:46 No, I do know what I'm doing, but I don't really... yeah, you get it.
01:50 Okay, so I just buff this into my skin.
01:54 This smells really good for some reason. I don't really understand why it smells so good.
02:00 It smells like soap. I don't know if it's meant to.
02:05 [Buffing into skin]
02:09 [Buffing into skin]
02:35 You can't really see this much on your skin, but it just kind of evens it out a bit more, I guess.
02:43 I have... I like this. I do like this BB cream.
02:48 Because I feel like it's a light coverage and it's just nice and easy to go with.
02:53 Then, because I've got oily skin, I usually go in with some powder.
02:57 The Rimmel Stay Matte Powder is really good and it's really cheap.
03:02 I think it's £3 in Boots and I really enjoy that one.
03:06 However, mine kind of broke into pieces and I left it in my uni house.
03:10 So I'm just going to go in with my Bare Minerals Original.
03:13 This is not the... this is a colour Medium Beige N20 and is an SPF foundation.
03:21 I didn't buy the matte one by mistake.
03:26 So if you've got oily skin, go for the matte one.
03:28 If you've got dry skin, go for this one because it gives you a bit more hydration.
03:35 I don't know. It just gives you a better finish, in a sense.
03:40 So I'm just going to... Woah, there.
03:43 [Buffing into skin]
03:51 I'm just going to go in with a big powder brush from Rimmel and just put that all over my face.
04:19 Oh, this is so annoying.
04:21 I don't really go onto my neck because usually it matches and I just feel weird about putting make-up on my neck
04:39 in case I put my hair up and you just see half of my neck with make-up and not the back of it or something.
04:45 I just get really paranoid anyways.
04:47 So I just kind of try to get make-up that is as similar to my neck as possible and then I just skip the neck.
04:55 Okay, so now for the... I don't really contour but what I do is I use this Bare Minerals...
05:03 It's like a bronzer, I guess, in colour Warmth.
05:09 And I just use this with the Real Techniques contouring brush and just kind of contour but not really.
05:20 So what I do is I just buff some onto that and then go onto the cheekbones.
05:27 Oh, that looks so much sharper there.
05:34 Woah!
05:35 I just kind of focus on these areas like that because I've got a really small forehead, I don't really go onto my forehead
05:53 but my forehead is a little bit uneven. This side is a little bit bigger than this side, I guess.
06:00 So I just kind of go in there. It sounds really stupid, it's just the little things you notice about yourself.
06:06 I don't really contour my nose, I just... I don't really know why I do that.
06:27 Okay, okay.
06:30 Now, onto the next step. What I do... I'm just trying to blend that in.
06:40 What I do is I use this foundation. It's a Mineral Blush.
06:46 I don't really know where this is from because it's a bit old and it's just kind of been scratched completely off
06:51 but it's a really nice peach.
06:57 Woah.
06:59 All my powder brushes have kind of like leaked through so now there's just a bunch of it like on the lock.
07:05 Anyway, so I just use that with my bare mineral powder brush and just...
07:11 These brushes are not good. They literally... hair... like the little hairs kind of falls off onto your skin and it's really annoying.
07:20 So if you just... I don't know if you can see that much. It's not very visible but it's a great colour and goes really well with my skin tone, I guess.
07:29 I just like that look where it looks like you're... you're blushing in a sense, I don't know.
07:39 So it's really soft and it just... goes so nicely.
07:45 Then what I do is I have this concealer from Maybelline Fit Me and I don't really like it as much.
07:52 I was watching this one YouTube channel and the woman really, really loved it and so I thought, you know, let me try this.
07:59 Oh, ow. If you've got oily... I don't know if this is good for dry skin or not but it's really bad for oily skin at least.
08:05 So... but what I do is I just dot it off under my eyes like that.
08:14 And I try to take on as little as possible because this thing gets really thick and I just leave it there for a while whilst I do my eyebrows and my eyes.
08:24 So it dries out a little bit because it's really... I don't really know how to explain this. It's really thick.
08:30 Anyways, for my brows I use this Benefit Brow in Medium Brown Shaping Kit.
08:38 It comes with a little brush and it just comes with two colours and another brush and a little eyebrow teaser pluck or whatever.
08:47 I just use the dark colour and I kind of... I don't really do much with my eyebrows.
08:53 I just kind of draw it where it needs to be filled in because it has little bold patches.
09:01 Like so. That's it. And then I do the same with my other eyebrow. Obviously.
09:20 It looks a little bit like an Indian eyebrow.
09:31 There we go.
09:46 Like that. Yeah. I don't know if you can see that much but that's really it.
09:51 And then for my eyes... sorry. I just use this Sensai Eyeshadow Palette and this was really...
10:05 like my friends used to big this up so badly so I had to get it but it's not all that. So this is in the colour AS04.
10:19 And I just use the little light pink. It looks like almost white. And I just dab that onto my entire eyelid with my finger.
10:32 And then... yeah you can hardly see it.
10:36 What I do next is that I take a big fluffy brush like this.
10:42 This isn't a brand. This is something I got from Amazon with like a bunch of others for like £10.
10:48 And I just use the dark brown from this Chanel Eyeshadow Palette which is in the colour... I don't even know.
11:04 I got this as a gift. Anyway so I take this and I shake it off and then I just go into the crease very lightly.
11:14 Just to give it a little bit of a shadow. And I do the same on the other side.
11:26 And then because this is so... I just kind of like bring it down a little bit but you can hardly see it.
11:35 And I do the same on the other side.
11:40 Okay that's really it. Over to eyeliner. I have a thing for eyeliner. I always have to use it.
11:46 This is the Rimmel Glam Eyes Professional Liquid Liner. And I have used this.
11:50 This was the first eyeliner. I think you become addicted to your first eyeliner.
11:55 And it's just... the brush is really thin and it's just so forgiving. It bends really easily and it's just so nice.
12:03 You can see. It just kind of glides on in a really thin way.
12:10 So I think it's easy. It's almost like cheating.
12:13 So I just do my eyeliner. I'll do an eyeliner tutorial some other time if you want me to.
12:31 I kind of draw on what I want to do and then I fill it in.
12:43 And when it's longer than what it's meant to be I just kind of wipe it off.
12:51 It doesn't really matter.
13:01 And I don't go all the way in to the corners. I just do that sometimes. I don't really know why I don't.
13:12 I just do the same on the other eye.
13:30 There you go.
13:59 There you go.
14:01 Then when it comes to mascara, this is my ultimate favourite mascara.
14:05 I love this mascara. It's the Volume Million Lashes Excess by L'Oreal.
14:12 But this waterproof one, I kid you not, it rips out your eyelashes.
14:19 Like, it's no one's business.
14:22 This one is so good. It gives you thickness, length and it makes it look like fake lashes.
14:28 I love it. I used it so much.
14:30 But every time I would wash it off or use my makeup wipes or whatever, I would see at least five eyelashes per eye.
14:37 And it was just not worth it.
14:39 But this one is kind of empty so what I do is I have this Kate, Rimmel, Kate London, I don't know what it is.
14:46 I have this mascara. I really hate the brush because it's so big.
14:49 So I kind of just use the brushes of this one and pop it into this.
15:12 I feel like I'm doing my makeup without a mirror, like without anything when I do it into the camera.
15:17 So I hope you forgive me.
15:19 Like that. And then I just do the same in the other eye.
15:43 [silence]
15:54 [click]
15:55 [silence]
16:05 [click]
16:06 [silence]
16:33 And then just before I do my under lashes, I just wipe or I blend this out with a big flat concealer or foundation brush or whatever this is.
16:46 This came with the pack of the eye shadow brushes and it is quite so good.
16:58 It just kind of blends it into the skin.
17:00 I feel like the concealer blends in more easily when it comes to when you use it with, when you have left it a little while.
17:09 Because it just kind of does the job a bit more.
17:12 It just lightens up your under eyes.
17:15 And then you just go in with your mascara and do your lower lashes as well.
17:19 [silence]
17:41 And that's really it.
17:43 And when it comes to the lips, I just kind of, oh how do I do this?
17:48 When it comes to the lips, I kind of either just put some chapstick on, because I have a bit of dry lips at the moment.
17:56 Or I just go in with a nude or pinkish lip liner.
18:01 This is colour, hold on, Maybelline Velvet Beige lip liner.
18:06 And I just kind of draw my lips with it and then fill it in as well.
18:18 [silence]
18:32 I don't really over draw my lips because I find it a bit unnatural.
18:38 So I just keep it like that.
18:40 And that's really it. That's the end result.
18:42 And I hope you guys like it.
18:44 Have a lovely day.
18:45 Hadar!
