00:00 Hey guys, today I have a really fun tutorial for you and it's the perfect selfie tutorial.
00:22 There's going to be tips, apps, and a makeup tutorial in this, so let's get started.
00:26 I'm starting out with my Benefit The Porefessional to minimize my pores and any little crevices
00:31 and lines on my face, obviously, and then just rubbing it in.
00:37 Next I'm going in with my Revlon Photo Ready Primer to prime and prep my face for the foundation.
00:45 Then I'm going in with my Revlon Photo Ready Foundation in Nude and just applying this
00:49 all over my face with my finger and then blending it in with a buffing brush from Real Techniques,
00:54 I believe it's called.
01:03 And don't forget to blend down your neck, especially if you're going to be taking pictures.
01:07 So next I'm going in with my e.l.f. Bronzing Stick and just creating lines on my face of
01:11 where I'd like to contour, so obviously my cheekbones and along my hairline and my nose,
01:18 and then I'm going to go ahead and rub that in with my finger as well as my jawline, sorry,
01:22 and then I'm just going to rub it in with my fingers and blend it in.
01:30 Then next I'm going in with my Rimmel Match Perfect Highlight Concealer.
01:33 Pictures are two dimensional so they have a really good habit of increasing your dark
01:37 circles and blemishes, so you really want to highlight your face and use a highlighting
01:42 concealer underneath your eyes and make your face more bright and welcoming.
01:48 Next I'm going in with my Annabelle Translucent Setting Power to just basically set everything
01:52 we just did in place.
01:54 So I'm going to apply a good layer of lip balm now because I don't want my lips to look
01:58 too chapped or anything in the picture, and then I'm going in with my Hard Candy Baked
02:02 Bronzer to go over basically where we put the cream bronzer before and contoured our
02:07 face just to add a little touch more to it and set it into place as well.
02:12 And then I'm going to be going in with this blush palette that I got from Amazon, it was
02:16 relatively cheap, and taking a peachy pink color and just blotting this basically onto
02:20 my cheeks.
02:23 And then going in with my e.l.f. Eyebrow Kit and using the gel to fill in my brows and
02:27 then going in with the powder to basically set the gel into place.
02:32 I'm going to be curling my eyelashes and then I'm going in with my e.l.f. Eyeshadow Primer
02:37 and priming and prepping my eyelids and this is also going to make my eyeshadow come out
02:41 more pigmented which is perfect for pictures.
02:44 And then I'm going in with my NYX Love and Trio, Love and Rio Trio, sorry, and I'm using
02:48 the champagne color all over my main lid and this is really going to brighten and open
02:53 up our eyes and it's a really pretty color.
02:56 And then I'm also blending it into the crease.
02:58 Then starting on my upper lash line, I'm dragging out the charcoal brown color and then blending
03:03 it in with a big fluffy blending brush so that there are no harsh lines and then I just
03:07 continue to layer until it's the darkness that I want.
03:10 And then I'm also taking a small detailer brush and putting it on the bottom lash line
03:14 and then again blending it all in and doing the same to the other side.
03:22 And once I'm done that, I'm using the very light white color to highlight my upper brow
03:26 bone as well as my inner tear duct to make our eyes look bigger and whiter.
03:31 And then I'm going in with my Scandalize Champagne Eyeshadow Pencil and rimming my waterline
03:37 with this, this is really going to open up my eyes and make them appear a lot bigger
03:41 and a lot brighter.
03:43 And then going in with my L'Oreal Linear Intense Liquid Eyeliner and lining my top lash line
03:48 and winging it out just a little bit and then putting a little bit on the bottom lash line
03:52 as well.
04:00 And then going in with my Maybelline Colossal Mascara for a first coat and then going in
04:05 again for my second coat with my Maybelline Mega Plush.
04:18 And then to top off the whole look we need to do our lips so I'm using the Baby Lips
04:22 Doctor Rescue in Peach because it's going to keep our lips moisturized for the picture
04:26 but it also adds a little bit of color and I wanted a nude lip.
04:31 So that is the complete makeup tutorial so let's move on to the tips and the apps that
04:35 I use.
04:41 So my number one tip for you guys is going to be to use natural lighting.
04:44 This is the best lighting you can get for pictures.
04:47 Also you're going to want to figure out what side profile you like best.
04:50 This is the side that I like best.
04:52 And then you're not going to want to hold your camera very low because that will be
04:56 the result or too high because neither of those are attractive.
04:59 So you're going to want to hold it just a little bit above eye level and that is the
05:04 best level for pictures.
05:06 And also you're going to want to make your face the priority and not any other body parts.
05:13 Most importantly you're going to want to let your personality shine through in your pictures
05:16 and be yourself and show who you are.
05:20 So as for the apps that I use, one that I use is called the VSCO or V-S-C-O Cam and
05:26 this is what I use to adjust my exposure and the contrast of my pictures which adds a really
05:32 cool look to them.
05:39 This also has a lot of really cool filters in it as well that I also use and you can
05:43 adjust how much of the percentage of the filter is used for the picture.
05:53 Another app I like to use is PicFX and there might be a free version of this still but
05:57 I have the actual version which was $1.99 and this is the app that I use for not only
06:02 filters but also like bokeh lighting and these different types of lighting effects that I
06:07 use on my pictures.
06:08 Many of you guys on Instagram will ask me sometimes how I got the little lights on the
06:12 pictures and this is the app that I use.
06:19 And another app that I like to use when I'm using a picture from my camera is White-o-Gram
06:23 because it makes it so that you can use the full size picture instead of having to crop
06:27 it.
06:28 And then of course I'm putting it on Instagram so go ahead and follow me if you aren't already.
06:33 So I hope you guys enjoyed this video.
06:34 Obviously you don't have to take selfies for this makeup tutorial.
06:37 This was just a fun way for me to show you guys the makeup tutorial I was doing but if
06:41 you do make sure to show your differences, see through your flaws and know that each
06:45 and every one of you are so beautiful and don't forget to have fun.
06:48 So I'll see you guys all in my next video.
06:50 Thank you guys so much for watching and goodbye!

07:14 And doing the same to the other side.

07:20 And once I'm done that I'm using the very light white color to highlight my upper brow
07:24 bone as well as my inner tear duct to make our eyes look bigger and whiter.
07:29 And then I'm going in with my Scandalized Champagne eyeshadow pencil and rimming my
07:34 waterline with this.
07:35 This is really going to open up my eyes and make them appear a lot bigger and a lot brighter.
07:41 And then going in with my L'Oreal Linear Intense Liquid Eyeliner and lining my top lash line
07:46 and winging it out just a little bit and then putting a little bit on the bottom lash line
07:50 as well.

07:58 And then going in with my Maybelline Colossal Mascara for a first coat and then going in
08:03 again for my second coat with my Maybelline Mega Plush.
