00:00 Hey guys, welcome back to my channel. Today's tutorial is going to be this look right here.
00:06 This is a Gwen Stefani makeup inspired look. The look that I'm creating is somewhere around
00:11 my head of course. So let's get started. I've already done my base so I'll link all the
00:17 products I used down below in the description box. So for the base of my eyeshadow I'm going
00:21 to be using my Makeup Academy Merged Trio eyeshadow in theatrics. And I'm taking this
00:26 sort of pearlescent white and I'm going to take this all over the base of my eyes working
00:32 up to the crease as well. I'm then going to take my Bourjois smokey eyes in 15 Blu Nuit
00:42 and I'm taking the silver colour again taking this all over the lid again up onto the crease
00:47 and I'm going to take this slightly above the crease as well sort of winging it out
00:51 ever so slightly quite softly though. This is the main colour for the look and this is
00:56 the sort of main base of it all. Again using that big fluffy brush just really making sure
01:02 it's all blended in. I'm also going to add a hint of purple so I'm taking my 17 eyes
01:13 in punky purple and I'm going to focus this mainly on the crease and the outer corner
01:18 of the lid. This is going to add a little bit of colour, a little bit of dimension,
01:24 depth that type of thing. It's going to sort of bring all the colours together and give
01:28 it that sort of punky-esque look to it. Gwen Stefani is quite known for the punky looks
01:33 that she does so this is a bit more punky. It even has punky in the name. Then I'm going
01:40 to go back to that theatrics palette by Makeup Academy and take the purple. This one's quite
01:44 sparkly so it's just going to add a little bit more glitter and shimmer just again in
01:50 the very outer side corners up into the crease. I'm really blending that in. Back to the Bleu
01:56 Nuit by Bourjois silver colour. I'm just going to go on top of the purple and just make sure
02:01 silver is really strong. In that purple there's just a hint of it and there's not too much
02:07 and I'm taking that underneath as well. For my eye shadow stick I'm going to be using
02:11 the Kate Moss in Rose Gold. I'm going to take it just on the outer corner of my top lash
02:16 line and underneath my lower lash line as well just to give that sort of copper-esque
02:22 look and this is in Rose Gold. I'm blending that out with my finger. And then for that
02:32 classic black eyeliner look I'm going to be using my trusty Secret Kat eyeliner by Soap
02:37 and Glory in Carbon Black. This is an eyeliner pen so I'm going to do quite a small but in
02:44 your face flick, cat eye flick and I'm really just making sure I'm going to perfect it and
02:49 I'm bringing that right round to the tear duct area as well and I'm also going to be
02:54 taking that on to just below the lower lash line as well and taking it right round and
03:01 sort of joining it all together. And then I'm going to be taking that eye shadow stick
03:13 again and taking it underneath just to really impact the colour on and make it a bit more
03:17 dramatic instead of just subtle. I really want the colour to stand out. Then I'm going
03:23 to take my Barry M. Kohl pencil in 1 Black and I'm going to pop this on my top and bottom
03:27 waterline just so there's no skin showing and you've got that full on punky black eyeliner
03:34 look. And then it's time to curl those lashes so I'm using my Marks and Spencers eyelash
03:45 curlers. Couple of pumps on each side whilst lifting the eyelash curler up just to give
03:50 it that gorgeous lift. For my mascara I'm going to be using my Estee Lauder Sumptuous
03:54 Extreme Mascara in 01 Extreme Black. This is really great for volume, it lengthens,
04:02 it defines, it separates the lashes. I love it and it kind of gives you that falsie effect
04:08 without having to wear falsies. So I'm going to do two coats of this on my top and bottom
04:13 lashes. And then for my brows I'm going to be using my Makeup Academy Pro Brow Ultimate
04:25 Eyebrow Kit. I'm taking the lightest colour on an angled brush and just running that through
04:29 the brows to give a little bit more shape and colour. And then to add a little bit more
04:37 structure into the brows which I find I need with just use of a powder I'm going to be
04:42 using my L'Oreal Brow Artist Plumper in Light to Medium. This sort of shows the brows off
04:47 a little bit more, shows you've got them and it just helps everything stay in place all
04:52 day long. For my contour I'm using my 17 Instant Glow Highlighter in Bronze Powder and I'm
04:58 going to contour my cheekbones, my temples on my head and the sides of my nose. Gwen
05:04 Stefani's face is quite chiselled but quite lightly so by using this I'm not getting such
05:09 a harsh effect although I am doing my cheeks quite harshly. And then for my concealer under
05:17 my eyes and on the rest of my face I'm using my Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
05:21 in One Fair, popping that on and then just blending that in using my finger. I'm not
05:31 going to use any powder today because I kind of want that gorgeous dewy look. For my blusher
05:36 I'm taking my Makeup Revolution Blusher in Sugar. This is highly pigmented so you only
05:40 need a small amount but it's just going to give that gorgeous flush of pink to the cheeks.
05:45 And then for my highlighter I'm taking my Makeup Academy Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter
05:49 in B150D. This is just going to give that gorgeous shimmer without being too intense
05:54 as it's got a pinky undertone. I'm going to pop this on the tops of my cheekbones, forehead,
05:59 down my nose, cupid's bow and on my chin. And then for my lipstick I'm taking my Rimmel
06:04 Lasting Finish Lipstick by Kate Moss in 01. So this is the finished Gwen Stefani makeup
