Spring Summer Makeup Tutorial with i-makeup

00:00 Hi guys, this is Ishla with I Makeup, your go-to channel for makeup, beauty, fun, and

00:17 And today's look is a fresh look I feel that can be worn during the summer, during the
00:22 spring, or anytime you just are feeling playful.
00:25 So stay tuned.
00:27 Okay, so you always want to start with a primer, and this one is from Heart Candy Eyeshadow
00:34 Primer.
00:35 This just kind of helps to keep your eyeshadow on all day so you don't get any creases, and
00:41 give you some good pigment in there.
00:44 Now here, you want to take your fluffy brush and just sweep a rosy color over the creases.
00:51 I'm using, I'm actually using the blush from an American Idol palette I got from the beauty
00:58 supply.
00:59 Next, you want to take and apply to the lid a nice and shimmery color.
01:06 I'm using Loose Pigment by MAC in Pink Bronze.
01:11 And I just love this color.
01:12 But you want to kind of pat it on because it does have a lot of fallout.
01:17 But the color payoff is brilliant.
01:22 Alright from here, you're going to use your mascara to prep the eyes for the false lashes.
01:29 And I'm using 3D Extreme Volume Waterproof Mascara because it's really filling.
01:34 If you didn't want to wear false lashes, you can just go over the mascara maybe two or
01:40 three times to give yourself a nice full look.
01:45 Now these lashes I absolutely love, love, love.
01:49 Even though they are human hair, I think that's a little weird.
01:53 But they are just the right amount of drama.
01:56 And I picked them up.
01:57 They are the Fabuloushes by Absolute New York.
02:01 Oh look at that.
02:02 Oh yes, drama.
02:03 Give it to them.
02:04 There you go.
02:06 So next, I'm just priming my face.
02:10 This will help to keep your foundation on and cover up any pores and just make your
02:15 foundation go on pretty smoothly.
02:18 The foundation I use is L'Oreal True Match Lumi in Soft Sable C6.
02:25 Now it may look a little discolored here, but it's going to blend in once it sets and
02:31 once you get all your powder on and everything.
02:35 You want to make sure you're blending it in really good.
02:37 I use a flat brush to put it on.
02:40 Maybe about two pumps is good enough.
02:43 For my highlighting, I use the E.L.F.
02:45 Shimmer Powder because it is just perfect for summer.
02:51 You know, it gives you just the right amount of glow.
02:53 It's in gold and I just think it looks beautiful.
02:56 Okay, I realize it looks crazy right here, but as soon as I finish blending it, it's
03:01 going to look flawless.
03:04 You'll see at the end when it's all blended together really nicely.
03:09 Okay, so I'm going to do a little bit of contouring with this concealer palette.
03:20 You want to use the darkest shade in the palette.
03:25 You kind of suck your cheekbones in and go along those lines.
03:29 Then you want to go along the sides of your nose just to give it some definition.
03:35 Some people go around their hairline, but I don't think that's necessary for me.
03:39 You'll have to see for yourself.
03:41 Now you want to blend it out.
03:43 Just blend all that powder off and try to blend in the concealer that you just put on.
03:51 Blend all those harsh lines out.
03:54 One thing that's going to help you set your foundation, concealer, and everything is your
03:59 powder.
04:01 Your mineral powder.
04:02 I am using Ruby Kiss's Mineral Powder in Honey Brown.
04:08 This is the part where you just blend, blend, blend.
04:12 I use a big fluffy brush for this because I just find it works better.
04:16 Now it's time for the blush.
04:19 This is a nice pink.
04:20 You want to choose a rosy pink color.
04:23 I'm using Mary Kay in Sable.
04:29 Now it's time to line the lips.
04:32 This is by Beautique.
04:33 It's called Mocha.
04:35 You can just pick a nude color that's going to make your lipstick pop.
04:43 Here for the lipstick, I used Matte Lip Lacquer by Ruby Kiss's in the color Mirage.
04:50 Now ladies, I did prep my lips with a lip gloss because I find that this matte lip kind
04:56 of draws your lips out.
04:58 For the final touch, I'm going to use my eyeliner to line the waterline.
05:03 That is the HD Extreme by Ruby Kiss's as well.
05:08 The gel liner in black.
05:10 There you have it.
05:11 That's the entire look.
