00:00 Hey, Molly.
00:01 Hi.
00:02 How are you?
00:03 I'm good.
00:04 Thank you so much for having me here at Blushington.
00:05 I'm so looking forward to learning all about enhancing our hazel eyes.
00:08 So let's just get started.
00:09 We're going to start with just a very, very sheer foundation as your base.
00:20 What's really going to make the hazel eyes pop on a day-to-day basis and even heading
00:26 out into the evening is colors such as maroon or lavenders, purples, colors that are contrasting
00:37 colors to those hazel green eyes.
00:40 Start today with a lavender maroony type shade.
00:45 The reason being is that contrasting color is really going to make your hazel eyes pop.
00:50 The reason that is is because if you revert back to looking at a color wheel, the contrasting
00:57 colors of green or hazel are typically purple type shades.
01:03 You want to make sure that you're using complementing colors and contrasting colors as opposed to
01:09 conflicting colors.
01:11 Colors you want to stay away from are definitely green.
01:15 Green and green really won't complement each other.
01:18 They'll merely take away from each other.
01:19 You won't quite know which area to look at first.
01:23 I'm now then taking a warm brown, which is a universal shade, and I'm going into the
01:29 crease to simply break up the purple.
01:33 The reason why I'm using maroon as opposed to a color that will also work such as brown
01:39 or bronzy is that it's a little bit more playful.
01:43 It's definitely a color that you can use day to evening.
01:46 I'm then going to take a color that has a soft bit of shimmer in it, just a universal
01:53 neutral shade, to pop the eye.
01:56 The soft light shimmer in the gold is what's really going to pop the hazel eye.
02:02 A darker shade typically closes the eye, whereas a lighter shade will brighten the eye.
02:07 To complete this eye look, take a maroony purple shade eyeliner.
02:12 You want to take this shade really, really close into the lash line.
02:17 The reason being is that it will give drama, but it won't be too much.
02:21 I'm now going to apply a waterproof mascara.
02:28 I chose to do a cream blush.
02:30 I did add a little bit all over, and the reason being is so that we catch a little bit of
02:34 just natural color.
02:36 I'm going to finish this look off with a color that's matching to the blush.
02:41 The reason being is that this cohesive palette really complements these aubergine, deep purple
02:47 colors.
02:48 I'm just subtly lining the lips with a very soft peachy nude.
02:54 I'm then going to fill it in with the peachy nude lip color.
02:59 This look will be greatly complemented with just a sheer wash of a lip gloss.
03:05 I think that's a really great look to make those hazel eyes stand out, pop, not overtake
03:11 your natural beauty.
03:13 It really complements your eyes.
