00:00 Hi guys, this is Julianne here from Jules and Sid Dee Dee on YouTube.
00:18 And today I'm going to be showing you guys a Queen of Hearts makeup tutorial because
00:22 Sidney and I did an acting scene from Alice in Wonderland where I was the Queen of Hearts
00:27 and she was Alice in Wonderland and so I had to wear makeup for that.
00:31 And I just wanted to show you guys how I got the look.
00:34 And yeah, so let's just get right into this video.
00:37 And the first thing I'm going to do is show you all my products that I use for this look
00:42 and also things that you may want to use.
00:44 So first things first, I have an eyelash curler.
00:47 This is not a very functional eyelash curler.
00:50 It's not very good.
00:51 I just bought it last minute for a dance event where I had to use a new one, but I don't
00:58 really like it.
00:59 But if you want to, so I'm not going to curl my eyelashes, but if you would like to, I
01:03 guess you could, but I do not recommend this one.
01:07 So next, I have some makeup remover from Clinique because in this look, you can mess up, so
01:16 you should probably have a makeup remover.
01:19 I use this one from Clinique and it works very well.
01:22 So like that.
01:25 I also use Q-tips because I'm running out of it and I just figured if I dipped it and
01:29 then just put it on the spot where I needed to remove it, then it comes off really easy
01:34 and quick.
01:35 Next I have Almay's Smart Shade Skin Tone Matching Makeup Lightish Pale Foundation.
01:43 And I'm not going to use this because I don't really want it to last long.
01:46 I just want to get it off right away.
01:48 But if you want to, and even if you want to make your skin look whiter, I'm kind of pale
01:53 lightish skin so I don't really need to make it whiter, but I believe she has white skin,
01:57 the Queen of Hearts.
01:58 So if you want to make your skin lighter, like if you're a little bit tanner than I
02:01 am, you can use a light foundation, like powder, bronzer, I guess, which things I'm not going
02:07 to be using because it's just going to go over the top.
02:10 I want this to be simple and I want this to wash off quick.
02:13 So yeah.
02:14 I'm sorry about the lighting here.
02:15 It's kind of dark out and it's all fuzzy, but sorry.
02:20 So next I'm going to use two mascaras in this look.
02:23 I'm going to use the CoverGirl Full Lash Bloom Brownish Blackish Mascara, which blends in
02:30 with my eyelashes pretty well, but I'm also going to use this Maybelline New York Mega
02:35 Plush Volume Express Mascara with it just because it will make my eyelashes look longer
02:42 and with more color.
02:44 And she is animated, so I don't know.
02:49 Next I'm going to be using this Dream Touch Maybelline Concealer, which I definitely recommend.
02:55 It's perfect for my skin tone.
02:57 It doesn't make me look orange.
02:59 It makes me look really good.
03:00 If you want a lighter concealer to look more like the Queen of Hearts, you can, but I recommend
03:05 this one totally.
03:06 It's easy to work with.
03:09 So next I have this NYC New York Color Palette, and the color that I'm going to be using is
03:14 this white ivory whitish color in the middle just because it will make my eyes look more
03:18 bright and awake and it's kind of subtle.
03:20 I don't really want this look to be a twist on the Queen of Hearts.
03:25 I don't want it to be so highlighted and overdramatic, so I'm just going to use that and I'm going
03:31 to use my fingers to get it on my eyes.
03:33 I just think it's easier.
03:34 I find it easier.
03:35 Next I'm going to use a Sephora foundation brush.
03:37 You could use this either for the foundation or the blush, and I'm using it for the blush
03:41 because I'm not using foundation, but if you want to put less on, like for a costume or
03:46 something, probably use the foundation.
03:47 You could also use that.
03:48 And now I'm just going to, and for the blush, I'm going to use this Physician's Formula
03:54 brush.
03:55 It just has my name on it because I used it for a dance recital thing.
04:02 So next I'm going to use this dark red Clinique, I don't know if you can see the C on top,
04:09 but this is a dark red lipstick.
04:12 It really goes with the Queen of Hearts.
04:13 It's kind of sparkly.
04:14 And I want to get a little bit more shine to it, so I'm going to use this red Maybelline
04:18 New York Baby Lips one.
04:21 You could also use just this plain old lip gloss to go over it.
04:26 And I'm going to use face paint for this look, and what I'm going to use is these face paint
04:29 sticks that I got from just a face paint kit that I got at a costume shop.
04:34 You could probably get them in a lot of different places, but I got mine from a Halloween costume
04:38 place.
04:39 So yeah, sorry if I'm not looking at the camera right now, it's crazy, but yeah.
04:44 I also have this little palette, which I'm not going to use, but you could also use this
04:48 if you wanted to.
04:50 And then this just came with it.
04:52 I think this is just face paint for your face.
04:55 And finally, which is, this is actually the first thing I want to do, is pull back my
05:00 hair because I'm using face paint and crazy stuff.
05:02 I don't want to get any gunk in my hair and colors, so I'm just going to pull back my
05:06 hair.
05:07 You could either use a clip or a ponytail holder.
05:10 I'm using a clip.
05:11 Just make sure it's out of your face, and not together like that so it won't bother
05:16 you while you're trying to do this.
05:17 I'm not going to do anything with my eyebrows or anything because I kind of want this to
05:21 be simple.
05:22 I mean, I'm just making a short video, so it really doesn't matter, but if you guys
05:26 want to look even more on the top, do that.
05:29 So yeah.
05:30 Alright, so let's get started.
05:31 Crazy face session.
05:32 Alright, so the first thing I'm going to use is my Physician's Formula blush.
05:39 I got this at CVS.
05:40 And my Sephora foundation brush, which I'm using for blush.
05:45 This is a very light pink sparkly blush.
05:49 I was going to go with a redder blush, but then I just decided it's fine if I use this.
05:55 So I'm just going to make it really colorful and overdramatic.
06:00 And shiny and sparkly, because it has to be seen.
06:05 And again, sorry for this lighting and fuzzy camera work, but I'm not using my good camera
06:09 right now.
06:10 I don't have it.
06:11 And the lighting is bad.
06:12 I was going to film a video earlier, but then I got kind of mixed up.
06:20 So yeah.
06:24 Next I'm going to use my NYC white ivory foundation.
06:29 I'm sorry, not foundation.
06:32 White eyeshadow.
06:33 And I'm going to use my finger to apply this, just because I wanted to.
06:38 Yeah.
06:39 It's just this shiny ivory sparkly white.
06:42 And really make it pop.
06:43 And make sure it looks even and sparkly and shiny.
06:49 Just put as much on as you can without going too over the top.
06:52 You know what I mean?
06:53 Just make your eyes really bright, shiny.
06:59 That should be good.

07:01 Make sure they look decent and even together.
