Music is everywhere in our cities. It not only brings citizens together and makes places come alive, but it is also deeply embedded in the urban, social and economic fabric. While artists and music companies can shape our cities, institutions can in turn actively influence the music scene and foster creativity. The collaboration between city governments and the music industry can lead to economic growth and fairer, richer cities: this panel will explore the key steps to achieve these goals with the help of top minds from both sectors.
