Marina and The Diamonds Makeup Tutorial

00:00 Hey guys, so today I'm going to be filming a Marina and the Diamonds makeup tutorial.
00:04 This is the makeup that I'm going to be doing.
00:07 And I look like this because I just got back from an amusement park.
00:20 So, yeah.
00:21 In the picture she has like a really light gold eye and then like a green eyeliner.
00:29 And orange lipstick, so.
00:32 It's just really simple.
00:35 Okay, so just start off with your regular foundation that you normally use.
00:42 Just going to put it on with a brush.
00:46 And if I keep looking over here that's because that's where my mirror is.

01:18 For my eyebrows I'm going to use the Maybelline New York Brow Drama.
01:25 I really like this stuff. At first I thought it was like kind of weird but
01:29 because it's like mascara for your eyebrows.
01:32 But it works, so.
01:35 I would recommend it.

01:51 Okay, I'm just going to use like a white and gold and I'm just going to use a Naked 3 palette.
01:55 Because I like it, so.
01:59 Yeah.
02:00 And I'm just going to use Strange.
02:07 This would stay open.
02:09 I'm just going to use this one.
02:11 Strange and Trick, so.

02:32 I'm just going to put the Trick like in the crease of the eye.
02:37 She kind of has it like more towards the inner eye than the outer.
02:43 So start in the inner and just spread it out.
02:47 And like make it go thinner as it goes on.

03:10 So it's like a really light gold.
03:14 And then you're going to take, you can use eyeshadow or eyeliner.
03:19 I'm actually going to use both just because I think that's a lot easier.

03:39 Okay, and then I'm going to take the gold eyeshadow and just add it in underneath my eye where I left open a little bit of space.
03:54 Repeat the same process on the other eye.
03:59 Okay, so once you have it on both eyes, I'm going to take a sparkly eyeshadow, like a green eyeshadow, and go over the eyeliner.
04:09 You don't have to do this step.
04:11 I just like the color of it.
04:13 Both of them.
04:15 And you can do eyeliner or eyeshadow, just whatever you want.
04:18 So just go over everything.

04:37 I put the green eyeshadow over the eyeliner.
04:42 And I think it looks a lot better like that.
04:46 Just to have them both.
04:48 Because they're both like really low pigment.
04:51 So I just put them both together.
04:53 Anyways, so now I'm just going to put mascara on.
04:59 You can put big eyelashes on, but I honestly hate them so much so I'm not going to.
05:04 Okay, so I put my mascara on.
05:07 And next is like blush, but it looks like she has like an orangey blush on.
05:16 So I'm just going to use this, Naked Urban Decay Flushed, and I'm just going to use a bronzer in it.
05:22 Because it's orange on me.
05:25 So, that works.

05:38 I'm going to do the lips, and I'm going to mix two colors together because she kind of has like an orangey kind of lip.
05:50 I don't know if you can see this or not.
05:52 I don't think my camera will focus.
05:57 No, it's not going to happen.
05:58 But anyways, it's like an orangey brown color.
06:02 So, I'm just going to mix these colors together and hope that it turns out that color.
06:08 So I'm just going to take like a small brush and take the darker color and use it as a lip liner.
06:16 Okay, so I lined my lips with the darker color and now I'm just going to fill it in with the lighter one.
