00:03 Hi.
00:08 I'm Rebecca Restrepo, and I'm the global makeup
00:10 artist for Elizabeth Arden.
00:13 I'm going to show you some quick tips and tricks that
00:15 will make your life easier.
00:17 The way I like to bronze is I like to use it with a brush.
00:22 A little bit goes a long way.
00:24 You can always add more.
00:26 That's so much easier than trying to take off.
00:29 And the way I start bronzer is I start along the hairline,
00:32 because that's usually where you bronze.
00:34 You bronze along your hairline around your face.
00:37 In the center is where you burn.
00:39 You want to look bronzed and not burned.
00:42 So what I do is I start along the hairline.
00:44 And this is also a great way of contouring.
00:53 It creates great shape.
00:55 And after I apply it, I'm just going
00:56 to go back for a little bit more.
00:58 [BRONZING]
01:01 And I go along my hairline and the face.
01:06 You can see I'm starting to warm myself up.
01:08 And since I'm going to do a little bit along my cheeks,
01:14 and color goes on so strongly along the cheeks,
01:18 I'm going to dab a little bit on a tissue.
01:22 What I do from here, because I'm going
01:23 to do the contouring or the bronzing in the hairline,
01:28 I'm going to come at the cheek, and it's from underneath.
01:32 And once I get to the middle, I stop and I move up.
01:35 Because you don't want to do this.
01:37 It will immediately drag your face down.
01:40 And if it becomes very hard for you, then come from here
01:44 and go up.
01:44 And here you can definitely go into the hairline.
01:47 Because it's a bronzer, it's kind of creating that warmth
01:50 all around.
01:53 And you can see how the color becomes
01:55 even stronger along the cheek.
01:56 That's why I like to dab a little bit.
02:00 So you come around.
02:02 You notice I'm going underneath.
02:03 I'm not going on top.
02:05 That's where blush goes.
02:06 I'm creating a bronzing, contoured look.
02:10 So you come right underneath.
02:12 You can feel-- if you're not pressing hard and trying
02:17 to find it, if you do it softly, the brush and your bone
02:21 structure will do most of the work.
02:23 You could also go the old school technique, and that works too.
02:29 But you want to stay within this area, which is usually
02:33 right in the middle of the ear.
02:36 You don't want to get too close to your jawline,
02:38 because that's going to drop your face.
02:42 So I'm going to grab a little more color.
02:44 And I'm going to come from behind my ear.
02:51 And I'm just going to do my jawline,
02:53 and just move up along the jawline.
02:56 Now what's left on the brush, I'm
02:59 just going to do that little bit.
03:03 And a little bit goes a long way.
03:11 But very, very important, you must not
03:15 forget to do your neck, your decollete, whatever
03:19 part of the body is exposed, because there's
03:21 nothing worse than a tan face and a pale body.
03:25 The two do not connect.
03:27 And the ears, because as you can see,
03:30 my ears look really pale now compared to my tan face.
03:34 I'm going to grab a little bit, do a little bit on my ears,
03:43 and some on my neck.
03:45 And don't forget the back of your neck if your hair is up,
03:49 because you don't want to have two different looks going on.
03:52 That's not cute.
03:53 You've got to look good going as you do coming.
03:55 And now you're nice and bronzed.
