How to use Flat Top Foundation Makeup Brush [Video Tutorial]

00:04 Welcome back to Nanchi.
00:06 Today, I'm going to show you how to apply a full face of makeup
00:09 with just one brush.
00:11 I will be demonstrating with a flat top foundation brush.
00:14 And I'm using Nanchi's Flawless Foundation Brush, which
00:18 is cruelty free and 100% vegan.
00:21 But you can use any flat top brush you have at home.
00:24 So let's begin with a clean face.
00:27 And I'm prepping it with primer.
00:29 For a smoother application and long lasting finish.
00:34 First off, I'm using a BB cream for a liquid foundation.
00:37 Apply a small amount onto the back of your hand
00:39 and stipple your brush into the foundation.
00:42 Then begin stippling on the bridge of your nose,
00:44 across the cheekbones, from the ears to the nose,
00:47 from the outer to the middle part of the chin.
00:50 Stipple above and below the lip.
00:52 Dab more foundation onto the brush
00:54 and stipple across the hairline, meeting
00:56 at the middle of the forehead.
00:57 Then stipple on the temples, right
00:59 between the ear and the eye, downward across the jawline,
01:02 and fading into the neck.
01:05 Then blend the foundation by buffing it all out.
01:08 This brush is so soft, it's perfect for buffing.
01:11 So soft even to blend out concealer, especially
01:14 under the eyes.
01:16 First, I'm applying it directly to my dark circles
01:19 and patting it in with my finger to melt the concealer
01:22 into my skin.
01:23 And with the brush, blending it out
01:24 with the same stippling motion.
01:27 How about cream foundation?
01:28 Easy peasy.
01:30 I like to apply it directly from the tube on the same area
01:33 as we placed the liquid foundation
01:35 and stipple it all over.
01:38 And look how amazing this brush blends.
01:40 I'm watching it on playback, and I'm like, wow.
01:43 Now, if you want to keep a full coverage, just keep stippling.
01:46 But if you want a sheer coverage, just buff it out.
01:50 If you use foundation as your concealer,
01:52 just apply and keep stippling inwards.
01:55 And make sure it's all blended out.
01:57 Now, that's flawless.
01:59 This brush is perfect for powders as well.
02:01 I'm using this pressed translucent powder
02:03 to set my concealer with light stippling motions
02:06 so as not to move the work we've already done.
02:08 The same thing goes with a loose powder.
02:10 Just roll your brush on the powder and tap off the excess.
02:14 And I'm stippling it on the areas that get oily the most
02:18 and then the rest all over my face.
02:21 Next up, contour.
02:22 I'm taking these two brown shades with the brush
02:25 at an angle and placing that angle on the hollow of my cheek
02:29 to sculpt it out.
02:31 That's what I'm talking about.
02:32 Then blend it in circular motions towards the hairline
02:36 and down the jawline and neck.
02:39 Then repeat on the other side.
02:40 Don't forget to blend until you see no harsh lines.
02:44 And you can contour the nose with this brush as well.
02:46 Just blend the bronzer on the sides of the nose like this.
02:49 With that same bronzing palette, I'm taking that pinkish shade
02:52 and using it as my powder blush and lightly dabbing it
02:55 across my cheeks.
02:56 How about a cream blush?
02:58 Just like the liquid foundation, put a little bit
03:00 on the back of your hand and dab your brush onto it.
03:02 Then take it to the cheeks.
03:05 Now let's not forget about the highlight.
03:07 Dabbing the brush on the highlighter,
03:09 I'm applying it on the bridge of my nose,
03:12 on the tops of my cheekbones with light stippling motions.
03:16 It's all about the stippling motion with this brush.
03:19 And voila, you're basically done.
03:22 I'm just going to top off the look with some mascara
03:24 and a little bit of lipstick and some glow mist
03:29 to set the makeup.
03:30 Flawless and fresh looking, don't you think?
