00:00 Hey guys, welcome back to my channel.
00:09 Today I'm doing a quick review of the Australis cream eyeshadow duos and there are three duos
00:17 in this collection.
00:19 They are a green and beige colour called Mint Choc Chix, a purpley colour and a bronzey
00:32 gold colour called Caramel Crush.
00:44 And the last one is a purple duo and one is more of a grey toned purple and the other
00:51 is a pretty deep purple called Boys and Berry.
00:58 I received these about a week or two ago, I'm not too sure of the actual date.
01:05 And I've been trying them all out, so these retail for $9.95 a piece, so that works out
01:16 $5, just under $5 a piece for two.
01:20 Yeah, so you're pretty much getting a pretty good bargain with these.
01:26 On their site they say they're vegan friendly.
01:28 I went into my local price line, Big W and Kmart and they all stock them for around the
01:37 recommended retail price of $9.95.
01:42 They are very creamy, very very pigmented as I'll just show you one of the Boys and
01:51 Berries.
01:52 I'll show you the purple side of the Boys and Berries.
01:55 And they're very, look at that, that's just one nice quick swipe of that.
02:01 They lasted a while, I put these on and they lasted from when I applied them at 9am till
02:07 just before 3.30pm.
02:08 That's near 7 and a half hours they last.
02:13 And I did not apply these with any other powders or anything, I just put them on.
02:18 The most I've done with them was blended out the crease colour and the outer corner with
02:21 a brush which is, to be honest, they are a bit hard to blend out because they do dry
02:29 really really fast.
02:30 Like the second you apply them to the lid, they will dry out.
02:35 So with the tip of the brush, as you can see that tip, it's pretty pretty easy to get under
02:44 the lower lash line.
02:46 They're very very shimmery and they do the darker shades.
02:50 When I put them on my hand and it dried out, I wiped my finger over all of the shades when
02:56 I swatched them in my previous video I've done on me, which was my mail time video.
03:01 And the darker shades do, I don't know if I applied it too thick, because I definitely
03:07 tried to apply an even coat over every single one of them when I did the swatching.
03:11 And the darker ones did kind of smudge a little, so I don't know if that was just my fault
03:19 or it is the product.
03:21 On the hand, when I applied them on the hand on my last video, which was my mail time,
03:27 they lasted from 1.30pm to 10pm.
03:30 So that's around the same amount of time as when they're on the eyes.
03:33 Yeah, if you work it out, it's around the same thing.
03:38 And at the 10pm mark, I actually wiped them off my hand, which was actually really easy
03:44 to wipe them off.
03:45 There's no scrubbing required.
03:49 These come off with pretty much one swipe.
03:51 I usually hold the make-up remover wipe on the eye area for a little bit, like about
03:58 10-15 seconds, and then swipe off.
04:02 These probably came off with just one swipe without having to hold it on or whatever.
04:08 So yeah, that is pretty good of them.
04:12 Overall, I would probably give these a 8/10, simply because of their lasting durability,
04:20 or their durability, and also because they're pretty cheap.
04:27 That is my quick review of the Australis Cream Shadows.
04:32 I will hope to catch you in another video, so bye for now, and I look forward to using
04:37 these products in the future.
04:38 More so.
04:40 Bye.
