Hokkiens form the largest Chinese dialect group in Singapore and their cuisine permeates the local hawker scene. One of their most popular dishes is fried Hokkien mee, a staple in Singapore’s hawker centres. We spent the day with two young brothers running a popular Hokkien mee stall.
