Simple & Pretty Vegan Cruelty Free Makeup Tutorial!

00:11 And today I have a vegan/cruelty free makeup tutorial.
00:15 I've decided that I want to put a lot more beauty videos, not just nutrition and food
00:21 videos, but more beauty videos on this channel as well because I believe veganism encompasses
00:27 a whole range of things, not just the whole eating aspect of veganism.
00:34 There's also vegan skincare, vegan makeup.
00:37 I use all kinds of makeup on my makeup channel.
00:39 I don't only do cruelty free/vegan.
00:43 So what I want to do for this channel is just make more beauty related videos for vegan
00:49 skincare, vegan makeup, cruelty free, all that.
00:52 Just a reminder, not all the makeup I used here was vegan or natural.
00:57 A lot of it is just cruelty free, which is a very hard, it's pretty hard to find cruelty
01:02 free.
01:03 Even just cruelty free, let alone vegan.
01:06 Vegan makeup is something that I feel like is going to just be so big one day and most
01:12 people are going to be using vegan and cruelty free makeup.
01:15 And it's so sad to me that so many companies aren't taking the whole cruelty free route.
01:20 A lot of companies that I do like are Urban Decay and NYX and Hard Candy.
01:25 They have actually gotten into more of the cruelty free aspect of makeup.
01:30 So I really like to support those companies that are at least cruelty free.
01:34 So you'll see that I am using their products in this tutorial.

01:45 So first I'm starting with the face.
01:46 I'm taking my Hard Candy Glamouflage Concealer in Tan.
01:50 And this is a cruelty free product.
01:52 All of Hard Candy's products I believe are cruelty free.
01:55 So I'm just going underneath the eyes, concealing the nose and any areas that I want to conceal
02:01 any redness or spots.
02:03 And I'm foregoing foundation.
02:05 This is just going to give me a lighter coverage and a more natural coverage.
02:17 And then I'm going through with my beauty blender and just blending this all out.
02:23 Then I'm taking my Everyday Minerals Base in Golden Tan and taking a large kabuki brush
02:28 and just putting this all over to set my concealer and make my skin look more even.
02:35 Then I'm taking the Specifika Love to the Third Power Palette.
02:38 This is vegan and cruelty free.
02:40 And I'm taking this gorgeous peachy shimmery color on my lid.
02:44 And then taking the darker shade of the palette and blending that into my crease like so.
02:53 And then taking the light color as a brow bone highlight.
02:58 And then taking it into the inner corners as well.
03:02 Next I'm taking the dark color with a smudge brush and going underneath the lower lash
03:06 line.
03:08 And then taking this Mineral Fusion and this is a natural and cruelty free makeup line.
03:14 I am using the liquid eyeliner in Ebony I believe and lining my top lash line for a
03:20 natural winged eyeliner look.
03:26 Then I'm lining my lower waterline with this hard candy concealer pencil.
03:30 And then for mascara, I'm taking this Mineral Fusion Mascara.
03:34 It's in the black color and putting this all over the tops and lower lashes.
03:40 Next I'm taking this Nyx blush in I believe Rose Garden and I'm putting this on my cheeks.
03:47 And then taking this the Beauty Crop Lighting Crew Highlighter.
03:51 I believe this is vegan and cruelty free and putting this onto my cheekbones.
03:59 And then finishing off with my Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream all over my lips.

04:11 I just wanted something kind of natural looking but still a little bit done up and perfect
