00:29 If you guys know me at all,
00:32 you know I'm obsessed with glitter.
00:33 I'm obsessed with wearing glitter, looking at glitter,
00:35 whether it's in a dress, whether it's makeup.
00:37 My whole entire house is decorated in like
00:39 whites and silvers and accents of glitter.
00:42 I love glitter.
00:43 And I've wanted to have a glitter background
00:45 since before I even started YouTube.
00:46 But I just have kind of put it off
00:48 'cause I felt like it was gonna be like too difficult
00:51 to take away from like the personable aspect
00:53 or just whatever it may be.
00:55 Or like I felt like a lot of girls
00:56 were doing a glitter background at one point.
00:58 So I don't know, I've just put it off for a long time.
00:59 But I found a bunch of different ones on Amazon
01:02 and I was like, yes please, two day shipping.
01:04 And so I thought I would give it a whirl.
01:06 In a few minutes, you're gonna see
01:07 this background's gonna disappear.
01:09 I'm gonna be doing my makeup with my normal background.
01:10 But honestly guys, let's just get real.
01:12 This background is not as amazing as it seems.
01:14 It's being held up by two lamps
01:15 and it's about to fall on me at any second.
01:17 Just letting you know.
01:18 But let me know how you feel about this glitter background.

01:41 Last night I destroyed my thumb.
01:44 I'm not gonna get into it because it's absolutely disgusting
01:46 but long story short, I picked up a huge serrated knife
01:50 to open up a UPS box and instead of going to the box,
01:52 it went right to my thumb and just.
01:55 Oh my God, it was so disgusting.
01:57 So today's makeup tutorial was definitely a challenge
01:59 for me not being able to use this damn thumb
02:01 because it hurts so bad.
02:03 Let me just say, applying lashes was a whole new level
02:05 of difficult not being able to use this bad boy.
02:07 So if you're wondering what this ugly bandage is,
02:09 that is the current situation at hand.
02:11 No pun intended.
02:12 Today's makeup tutorial is actually the exact same look
02:15 that I wore in my best of beauty video back in January.
02:17 I know that's so random.
02:19 But when I posted a picture on Instagram,
02:20 it was like the most requested tutorial
02:23 I've ever seen from you guys.
02:25 And you have continuously requested this video
02:27 on a daily basis.
02:28 So of course I had to do it.
02:29 And I hope that you guys enjoy.

02:44 Well hello my loves, I have missed you.
02:47 So the first thing we are going to do today
02:49 is prime our skin.
02:50 I am using the Smashbox Primer Water.
02:52 I'm over half done with this bottle.
02:55 I love it so much.
02:56 And then I'm gonna go in with a second primer.
02:58 That's right, this is the Makeup Forever Primer.
03:01 And this is the smoothing one.
03:02 I do have all of them and I'm trying them out
03:04 one at a time.
03:05 This smoothing one really, really smooths out my pores,
03:08 filled everything in.
03:09 But it also made me very matte.
03:11 I personally am not crazy about being matte.
03:13 But I would definitely recommend it to those of you
03:14 who want that matte look.
03:16 Because my oh my, this made it happen.
03:19 Then I'm gonna go in with the Dior Nude Air Serum Foundation
03:22 and I'm going to mix it with the
03:23 Kevin Aucoin Liquid Highlighter.
03:26 Oh my gosh, you guys.
03:27 These two are a match made in heaven.
03:29 I will go more in depth about them soon.
03:31 But I absolutely love these two.
03:32 So I just kind of make a little cocktail
03:34 on the back of my hand of both of these.
03:35 And then I'm going to just stipple it on my face
03:37 using a Sigma F80 flat top kabuki brush.
03:40 And I'm going to just press that into the skin.
03:42 What I love about this Dior foundation
03:44 is it truly looks like skin.
03:46 And this highlighter is so beautiful.
03:49 It gives such a natural radiant glow
03:51 like you can see right here.
03:52 I just love them together.
03:53 Then I'm going to conceal my under eye area
03:55 using the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer.
03:58 I have been using this almost all month
04:00 and I've really been enjoying it.
04:02 More than anything, I love the applicator.
04:04 Like I just love this little flimsy wand that it has.
04:07 It makes it so easy to apply.
04:09 So using a damp beauty blender,
04:10 I'm going to just press this into the skin
04:12 and blend it outward.
04:14 Then I'm going to set that entire under eye area
04:17 using my under eye setting powders.
04:18 Same thing as always.
04:20 I'm using a Sigma tapered highlighting brush
04:22 to do so on the entire under eye area.
04:24 And I also set the lid.
04:26 That way my eyeshadow is going to go on
04:28 a little bit more smoothly.
04:30 So now we get to move on to the eye area.
04:33 First shadow I'm going to take
04:34 is Peach Smoothie by Makeup Geek.
04:36 And I'm going to apply that with a Sigma E40.
04:39 This is not a must for everyone,
04:40 but it is just a must for me.
04:42 I pretty much use Peach Smoothie
04:43 in the beginning of every single eye look
04:45 because it's just ideal for my skin tone.
04:47 Then I'm going to go in with the
04:48 Jaclyn Hill Favorites palette by Morphe.
04:50 And I'm going to take this kind of
04:51 very light medium brown transition color,
04:54 we're going to call it.
04:55 It doesn't have a name, so that's my name for it.
04:57 Going in with the exact same E40 brush,
04:59 I'm going to just dust that back and forth
05:01 in windshield wiper motions.
05:02 And then I'm going to kind of blend it
05:04 upward and outward with this brush
05:06 so we have no harsh lines.
05:08 Then I'm going to mix these two colors together.
05:09 This very dark chocolatey brown
05:11 and then this kind of,
05:12 almost like a raspberry purpley brown.
05:14 And I'm going to take an E25 from Sigma
05:16 and I'm going to start packing that
05:18 in the outer corner of my lid
05:20 and then blending that out.
05:21 You can put this all over your lid if you want,
05:23 it doesn't matter because for this look
05:24 we are going to go in and cover up
05:26 the majority of the lid area.
05:28 So you can be kind of sloppy and kind of messy with this
05:30 and work it kind of all over the place.
05:31 But the key to blending is always going back
05:33 with a bigger fluffier brush like I am right now
05:35 with that E40.
05:36 And then continuously going back and forth,
05:38 back and forth, back and forth with those two brushes.
05:41 The bigger one and then the more small dense one
05:43 that will really make sure that nothing is harsh.
05:46 Then going in with a definer brush,
05:48 I'm going to just pack that brown on the lower lash line.
05:50 You don't have to put this down there,
05:52 you can put all purple down there,
05:54 but I go in with this first
05:55 and then I am going to go in
05:57 with Anastasia Iridescent Purple
05:59 and I'm going to pack that very intensely
06:02 on the outer corner of the lower lash line.
06:05 'Cause I really want a purple down there
06:06 just for some funness.
06:08 But you could use the purples
06:09 from the Jaclyn Hill Favorites palette
06:11 but I just wanted to use that one.
06:12 So it's happening.
06:13 Now I'm going in with the Makeup Forever Shadow
06:15 in D-552 and I did wetten my brush a little bit
06:19 with some MAC Fix Plus.
06:20 If you don't own that, you can use eye drops.
06:22 It'll pretty much work the same.
06:24 Using a MAC 242 brush,
06:26 I'm going to just pack that silver color all over the lid.
06:29 Once we get to the outer portion of the lid,
06:32 I'm going to kind of stamp like you see right now.
06:35 I have to wait for it to dry
06:36 so I'm doing a quick little dance
06:37 and then once that Fix Plus has dried,
06:39 I'm just gonna go in with that same Sigma brush
06:42 and kind of blend out the edges
06:43 because I don't want it to be too harsh or like jaggedy.
06:47 Then I'm gonna go in with a MAC Pro.
06:49 This is High Def Cyan.
06:51 This is a very, very intense blue eyeliner.
06:54 It's available online and at MAC Pro stores
06:57 but it's not available at like regular MAC stores.
06:59 You can use any blue but that's what I wanted to use.
07:01 I had a very difficult time with my contour today.
07:04 I don't know why.
07:04 Everything was coming out very muddy and very dirty
07:07 so I'm kind of rushing through this process
07:09 but I am using the Kat Von D Contour Kit to do this
07:12 and I did use that really intense yellow color
07:15 just to kind of highlight everything
07:16 'cause I thought, hey, if the contour isn't working
07:18 that great, we're just gonna highlight away
07:20 and just fake it 'til we make it.
07:21 Now I'm gonna go in and just coat my lashes with mascara
07:24 because we know that we're gonna pop on some falsies
07:26 and get ready for it.
07:28 Just get ready.
07:29 No thumb, no thumb.
07:31 Yes.
07:33 Go girl, go girl.
07:34 No thumb, no thumb.
07:36 Most difficult moment of my life.
07:37 I mean, not really for squirrel problems
07:39 but it was a little difficult.
07:40 So now that we have our lashes on,
07:42 I am going to go in with Makeup Geek blushes
07:44 and I'm going to mix Spellbound and Head Over Heels.
07:47 These are my two favorite blushes to mix together
07:49 for a nice pink cheek
07:51 and I wanted to do something pink instead of coral
07:53 'cause I always do coral and I've been loving pink recently
07:55 so that's what I did.
07:57 Taking the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette,
07:59 I'm going to use the middle shade
08:01 and I'm also going to be using the Morphe M501 brush
08:04 to highlight the tops of the cheekbones
08:05 and I will also bring this on the center
08:07 and the apple of the cheek
08:08 just for an extra pop of highlight and glow.
08:11 I'm going to coat my lower lashes with mascara.
08:13 As always, I can't do a makeup look
08:15 without doing my lower lashes, I feel.
08:17 And then to finish this look off,
08:19 I'm going to use the ColourPop Lippie Stick
08:21 in the shade Cake.
08:22 Absolutely love this color.
08:23 It's like a bright corally pink.
08:25 It's just so beautiful for spring.
08:28 Finish everything off with Urban Decay
08:29 Chill Makeup Setting Spray.
08:31 Give yourself a quick bath in this, fan yourself off
08:33 and we are good to go.
08:35 So it's pretty easy.
