Winter Inspired Makeup Tutorial

00:00 Hi everyone, welcome back to my channel. So today is the third day of winter. By the way, do you like my background?
00:06 I was trying to eat healthy and be fit and I thought, "Hmm, if I set fruit as my background, I'll be inspired."
00:11 *crunch*
00:13 I wasn't inspired.
00:14 But anyway, it's the third day of winter today. I have no idea when you see this, but it'll still be winter.
00:19 So, I thought what better way than to kickstart the horrible season of winter than with a makeup tutorial that is winter inspired.
00:27 This will be the first video in my series of winter videos, so get keen for that.
00:31 So, I just started off with my normal makeup, just using my Revlon Photo Ready foundation that doesn't want to go on focus.
00:38 Woohoo.
00:40 And it's in the color, my pale color, 002 Vanilla, which I love because I love vanilla ice cream. It makes me feel really pretty.
00:47 And I just applied my Sephora concealer in the even lighter shade of Clare Light.
00:51 And I set it all in with my Revlon Nearly Naked setting powder in the color 030 Medium.
00:58 And I'm really sad, guys. Look, I have like none left.
01:02 So, I'm starting off today by using this really cool new Revlon eyeshadow palette that I got.
01:07 Ooh, it's in focus.
01:09 And it's in the color of 02 Coffee Bean.
01:11 I'm just taking this small, fluffy brush that needs a clean and using this darker brown here.
01:19 I'm just going to use that and apply it to my lids.
01:24 By the way, if you're wondering why I'm doing this with my eyes open, I have really weird shaped eyes.
01:28 So that when I open my eyes, you actually can't see the makeup on them.
01:30 So, if I do it with my eyes closed, then you can see the makeup.
01:33 Lids done.
01:40 And now for the other.
01:49 I'm going to take my Bases palette, which I love.
01:51 Because right now, I'm a broke girl.
01:53 So, I don't have enough money for the Naked palette.
01:55 And this is like a knockoff Naked palette.
01:57 So, it's the Bases by Chi Chi that I used in my last video.
02:00 So, definitely would recommend.
02:02 It's really good.
02:03 Running out of some colors though, because I use them so often.
02:05 So, I'm just taking this brown sparkly color right here and applying that on my brush.
02:12 And then I'm going to apply this to the creases of my eyelids.
02:16 As you would have noticed, I'm not like amazing at makeup.
02:23 So, I like to think of my makeup tutorials as like help for girls that aren't that great at makeup.

02:32 I always get my like eyeshadow down here.
02:34 Just get a big brush and like move it out of the way.
02:37 That's what I do.
02:39 It's not the technical way, but it works.

03:02 Using this light brown color.
03:05 It's just a little lighter than before.
03:07 It doesn't have any glitter.
03:09 I just want my eyelids to look a little darker.

03:14 Like, winter is obviously like dark colors like browns and stuff.
03:17 And summer is brighter.
03:18 So, I'm going to make my eyes dark.
03:20 But still fabulous.
03:21 So, just above that.
03:24 Focusing on the outer corner.
03:26 I always make the prettiest faces when applying my makeup.
03:34 I know it looks a little funky right now.
03:36 It'll get better.
03:37 I'm taking my favorite color in this whole palette.
03:40 This gold sparkly color.
03:42 Because it's so pretty.
03:45 And I've used the most out of this.
03:59 Duh-loop!
04:00 And from there, I'm just going to blend those two in together.
04:06 I'm going to add a little bit more sparkle.
04:08 But in a lighter color.
04:10 So, I'm just using this lighter golden sparkly color right here.
04:13 Just to liven it up a little.
04:17 I'm just applying that in that little gap there.
04:25 I'm actually just going to take this silver colored here.
04:29 Silver, pretty random.
04:30 Hey, because we're using all gold.
04:32 Stay tuned.
04:33 So, I'm just going to use this down here.
04:36 And just brush that in there.
04:38 And bring it all down.
04:39 I'm going to take this 24 hour color tattoo metal.
04:48 And the color 60 silver strike.
04:50 I sound so Australian.
04:52 Strike.
04:53 Silver strike.
04:55 And I'm using this angular solid brush.
04:59 I'm going to use this as an eyeliner.
05:01 So, this will really add.
05:02 Oh, I didn't even show you.
05:04 It's a really nice silver color.
05:05 So, this really, I feel like it ties in the whole winter theme.
05:10 Because winter likes snow and icy stuff and everything.
05:12 And it's like a very icy color.
05:14 So, let's add it in.
05:15 It is a little bit clumpy.

05:38 That's the eye makeup look done.
05:40 Next, I'm just grooming and filling in my eyebrows.
05:43 And the eyeliner.

06:02 Use this great lash mascara by Maybelline.

06:06 And it's waterproof.
06:07 So, it really adds volume and length.

06:21 Moving on to bronzer.
06:22 And I really need to buy a good bronzer.
06:25 So, right now I'm just using this El Cheapo one.

06:42 I add a lot of bronzer.
06:44 Especially this side.

06:46 Then I go get this brush.
06:49 I don't know what to call it.
06:50 A very thin fan type brush.

06:54 And I just kind of do this.

07:05 Because it's a really cheaper brand.

07:30 Which is also El Cheapo.
07:32 And I don't want to show you it.
07:33 And I'm just going to use that.

07:45 So, I'm just using my Lancome L'Estilo Contour.

07:51 Which is all in French.
07:53 Let's call it L'Estilo Contour de l'Evre.
07:55 So, the pencil contourage for your lips.

08:02 It's in color 023 something something.
08:03 That all wore off.
08:04 But this is what it looks like.

08:07 And I'm going to have to try and buy this in Australia.

09:10 And it smells like Play-Doh.

09:16 So, I'm just applying this on top of it all.

09:25 And I think it would look great at any like parties.
09:27 Or like fancy parties and stuff.
09:29 And I'm definitely going to be wearing this a lot this winter.
