00:00 Hey guys, it's Lily and today I'll be showing you a really really really beginner's makeup
00:05 tutorial.
00:06 I did an easy makeup tutorial, but I found that it was kind of hard you could say.
00:12 It wasn't really like I was using a lot of nicer products and I thought, okay that could
00:17 be an easy makeup tutorial, maybe someone in between beginner and intermediate.
00:21 So I'm doing a very very beginner, like first day with makeup makeup tutorial.
00:26 So makeup, you're probably new to makeup if you're watching this.
00:31 So there's so many different brands of makeup.
00:35 Pretty much I love all the brands that I use.
00:37 I can recommend a million brands to you guys.
00:42 Makeup is just kind of a hobby for me.
00:44 It's not like I do it to cover really anything up.
00:47 Sometimes little dark circles or other situations going on on your face.
00:53 I was pretty young when I started with makeup.
00:58 My first nice makeup I had was elf makeup, so pretty much that's not that nice.
01:04 And I loved the product.
01:05 It was like a little, so I have this, it looks like this, this is the Clinique smoothie,
01:10 but it was really, really got me inspired.
01:14 I really loved makeup and then I started to just get more involved in it.
01:19 And one year for Christmas I was like, "Oh, what do I want for Christmas?"
01:22 I searched and I searched and I found this big kit you get from Justice.
01:26 I used that but then it disappeared one day.
01:30 So then I kind of got out of makeup.
01:32 Wasn't really into it anymore.
01:33 But then I just got back into it.
01:37 You know a lot of people comment on people's videos that are young like me and they're
01:40 like "I'm 15 and all I have is mascara and lipstick.
01:45 Stop wearing makeup."
01:46 Makeup is a hobby.
01:47 It's not like there's a certain age for makeup.
01:50 It's just kind of whenever you feel that you want to do that hobby.
01:56 Makeup can be expensive but I pay for a lot of my makeup and, or it's a gift.
02:02 And I like to stick with cheaper makeup but as you can see here I do have some expensive
02:05 makeup like Urban Decay and MAC.
02:08 But that's because I've been working on this for years, pretty much since I was in kindergarten.
02:13 So I have, my mom said I'm good at makeup so I could have nicer brands.
02:20 But if I was bad at makeup she probably wouldn't spend that much money on it.
02:23 But really most of my nice makeup was given to me by my sister.
02:29 So yeah, I just spent 2 minutes and 32, 3 seconds talking to you guys about makeup.
02:36 But I think that's a good idea because you're just beginning.
02:40 So the first thing I will be doing is concealer.
02:44 Concealer is pretty much self explanatory.
02:47 Conceal to conceal any blemishes you have on your face.
02:51 If you want to get a little more coverage than just the concealer, this is a really
02:57 good foundation.
02:58 It's Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup and this is in Natural Beige 660.
03:06 So this is really good for beginners.
03:11 I'm not sure you guys can use really anything.
03:15 This CoverGirl Ready Set Gorgeous also has a foundation and a powder but I only have
03:20 the concealer.
03:21 And this is in Medium Deep in the number 4261.
03:27 This is, most of my makeup is drugstore makeup.
03:30 I have to say.
03:32 So this is Eye Outset Walgreens.
03:35 And it's pretty cheap.
03:36 It was like 5 to 7 dollars.
03:38 I don't really remember.
03:39 So now I'm going to teach you kind of where to put your concealer.
03:43 So if you have dark under eyes like me or bags or something, don't just do like whoop.
03:49 Don't do that.
03:51 That's not really going to conceal much.
03:53 So instead of doing that, you're going to do a triangle like this.
04:00 And it's, some people call it a V, some people call it an upside down triangle.
04:04 It just kind of depends.
04:05 And then you just fill it in.
04:06 You really don't have to spend much time on it.
04:10 If you're a beginner, you probably don't have much to conceal because mostly you're probably
04:15 pretty young.
04:16 But you know what, you could be 17 years old.
04:18 Sorry for that interruption.
04:21 So I'm also going to, I have a cut here where I ran into a wall.
04:26 And she's showering!
04:32 And I'm just going to put it all down my nose because I do have some blemishes and scars
04:36 there.
04:37 So you can really use anything you want to blend it in.
04:40 You can use your finger, you could always use a cosmetic wedge or a beauty blender.
04:43 I don't have one so I can't really show you what a beauty blender is.
04:47 I actually love to use an eyeshadow brush for a concealer brush.
04:52 I don't know.
04:53 Or I'll also use a foundation brush for a concealer brush.
04:57 Never a real concealer brush though.
04:58 But today I'll be using my eyeshadow brush.
05:00 And this is the ELF Eyeshadow C brush.
05:03 So all I'm going to do is just blend it out under my eyes.
05:07 The Ready Set Gorgeous concealer, it gives like a good amount of coverage but just not
05:12 like a ton.
05:13 So it's really good for beginners.
05:14 But if you're really looking for more coverage, there's other good concealers out there.
05:20 And if you're looking for, like, if you're older and you're looking and you're starting
05:24 to age and get wrinkles and stuff, Maybelline's Age Rewind concealer I heard is very good.
05:31 I know a lot of people that use that.
05:33 And it is really good.
05:35 So I just blend this all in with my ELF.
05:38 ELF is one of the best brands for beginners.
05:40 A lot of people got their Eyes, Lips, Face palette.
05:43 Like a lot of my friends have that.
05:44 And then I'm just going to use a cosmetic wedge to make sure I got it all.
05:51 So next, you have to kind of set your concealer because you don't really want it to look so
05:58 like doll-like.
06:01 So I have a few good powders that I will be showing you.
06:05 My all-time favorite is this Urban Decay Razor Sharp Ultra Definition Finishing Powder.
06:12 This is not drugstore, but if you're looking for something more drugstore, this All May
06:17 Truly Lasting Color.
06:18 I'm not sure if that's a drugstore brand, but I know this Revlon Colorstay is a drugstore
06:23 brand as well.
06:24 But I'll be using the Urban Decay one just because it's my favorite.
06:28 And I just put the powder all over my face because, I don't know, I like powder.
06:33 And since this one, you can't really like blend it, I'll be using once again an ELF
06:38 complexion brush, my favorite all-time brush, to make sure it's all blended out.
06:44 Okay, next we'll be working on my eyes.
06:49 So the first thing you have to do is prime your eyes, but you don't really need to unless
06:53 you're using a glittery, glittery, glittery eyeshadow.
07:01 But I have so many eyeshadow palettes, but most of them are pretty nice.
07:04 So I'm not going to use some of those.
07:05 I'm going to use a not-so-nice eyeshadow palette.
07:10 This is just a Maybelline New York one.
07:11 A lot of beginners use this, but some other ones I like are the Naked palettes, of course,
07:17 who doesn't like those?
07:18 Bella J palette, Clinique, Profusion, all that good stuff.
07:24 So you've got to learn where to put everything in your eyes.
07:29 So if you don't really know where to do that, I would really recommend using this Clinique
07:34 palette.
07:35 And it just shows you, this is the highlight, this is the contour, and this is the define.
07:41 So, I thought, hmm, well I could use the Maybelline one, but the Clinique one is more teach-itive.
07:48 You can teach more with it.
07:50 So you want to start with your define color.
07:54 Since I think these are all really dark, I like to skip, I don't really like to use one
07:58 of their define colors.
08:00 So I'll just be using this color right here.
08:04 It's actually a contour color, but it's fine because it's still pretty dark.
08:08 So all I'll be doing, all I will be doing with that is just putting it on my lid.
08:18 And the brush I'm using is an Urban Decay.
08:22 If you don't know what all these brands are, that's okay.
08:24 Some of them are from Sephora.
08:27 Sephora is a makeup store, most malls have a Sephora.
08:30 So yeah, after I do that, I'm going to do a different color in my crease.
08:38 Your crease is this area right here in between your eyelid and your brow bone.
08:43 So I will also be using another contour color because, of course, I didn't want to use a
08:50 define color.
08:51 I've never used one of these colors.
08:52 Oh, I actually have used the black.
08:55 So I'm just going to use this color right here and put that in my crease.
09:07 So to give your eyes a little bit of a highlight, you could call them, you need a highlight
09:13 color.
09:14 So I love all of these colors.
09:15 I use them so often, but I'm going to use the pink because that is my favorite.
09:18 And good thing it's the biggest one.
09:20 So you just got to put that in your inner corner.
09:22 And then I use my finger to blend it out.
09:24 And then just use the excess of it and use my finger to blend it out.
09:27 I'm not going to go into anything with your brows or your eyeliner.
09:32 So I'm going to skip straight to mascara.
09:34 These are my two all-time favorite mascaras.
09:36 Well, drugstore mascaras.
09:37 The Great Lash by Maybelline and any of the CoverGirl ones.
09:44 My actually favorite non-drugstore is the Urban Decay version.
09:49 So I'm using the CoverGirl one.
09:50 And the good thing about this is it's waterproof.
09:52 And I'm only going to put like one coat on my top lashes.
09:58 So yes.
09:59 So yeah.
10:00 So then for my lips, it's going to be pretty simple.
10:05 I'm going to use this Flower Sheer Lip, Sheer Up Lip Tint.
10:09 And this is a drugstore one.
10:11 I got it at Walmart today.
10:12 And it was like $3 or something like that.
10:16 And I'm just going to take it and put it on my lips.
10:19 I love lip crams, especially Jumbo ones.
10:22 Because they're so easy and you don't have to worry about the mess with the lip stick.
10:27 And you can still get more color than a lip gloss.
10:35 It's very easy to put on.
10:36 So that's what I like about it.
10:38 So yeah.
10:39 That's the makeup look.
10:40 I know it's really weird lighting so you can't really tell.
10:41 But I'll give you a little bit of a better lighting.
10:44 So yeah.
10:45 That's it.
10:46 And it's really simple.
10:47 You can always do contouring or whatever else you want.
10:51 I will do a full video on how to contour correctly.
10:55 If you guys want that, just let me know by giving this video a thumbs up.
10:59 And if I get to 5 thumbs up, I will do that video.
11:02 Sorry for that interruption.
11:03 But 5 likes for the contouring or any other makeup videos that you guys want.
11:09 I can do a contour, I can do how to do eyeliner, how to fill in your brows.
11:13 Anything you guys want.
11:15 I can also do a tutorial with a Naked 1 palette, Naked on the Run.
11:19 Just you guys tell me.
11:22 So yeah.
11:23 That would conclude this video.
11:25 Make sure you subscribe.
11:27 My goal is 40 subscribers.
11:28 And I'm at like 34 or 33 right now.
11:29 I'm not really sure.
11:30 I'm not sure.
11:31 I haven't checked in a while.
11:32 But yeah.
11:33 So bye.
11:34 I'm back for just one more message.
11:40 If you guys want me to post a singing video of any song you guys want, just let me know
11:45 by giving me 10 thumbs up on this video or any other videos.
11:50 Until I say, oh now we get 20 likes.
11:55 So once again, bye.
