A view on the Maharlika Fund and what it means for the PH economy

The Maharlika Investment Fund (MIF) is up for President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s signature after the Senate passed the bill on its third and final reading early Wednesday, May 31, 2023. The Maharlika Fund will be the country's first ever sovereign investment fund designed to promote economic development by investing in key sectors. The Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. (FFCCCII) gives its insights on the approval of the measure.
