Get Beach Day Ready! Hair, Makeup, Outfit & Essentials!

00:20 So today I'm at the pool and I'm going to the beach.
00:24 I thought it would be a good idea to film a get ready with me for like a beach day, hair, makeup, and outfit, and essentials.
00:32 Can't forget those essentials.
00:34 Summer is almost here. Most of us are on spring break or already done school, some of us.
00:40 [ding]
00:41 This isn't necessarily if I'm going in the water and doing like a full on swim because I wouldn't really wear makeup and like hair at all if I was doing that.
00:51 But this is more of like a hangout at the beach, you know, walk around.
00:54 [laughter]
01:08 So yeah, that's pretty much all I have to say I think. Let's just get into the video.

01:20 Alright guys, so first things first, I'm going to be evening out my skin using the 3 in 1 foundation from Covergirl.
01:28 And this is just going to give me a pretty good coverage and also provide a good SPF.
01:36 Next I'm taking my Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser to conceal my dark circles under my eyes
01:45 and to make me look a little more awake and bright and happy I guess.
01:50 And then I'm taking my Urban Decay Naked Powder.
01:54 This is just a setting powder to kind of set everything in place and to mattify my face.
02:01 So then we're taking a eyebrow pencil. This one is from Hourglass. I just got it and I really, really like it you guys.
02:08 It's so natural and the pencil part is actually like pretty big so it's like really fast and it takes no time to do
02:16 and it has a bristle thingy at the other end of the stick.
02:21 And then I'm taking a cream eyeshadow from Benefit. It's called Bikini Teenie and it's just a champagne, shimmery beige color.
02:31 And then we're just curling the lashes and applying a couple coats of your favorite waterproof mascara.
02:37 I'm not using waterproof here because I didn't have one with me, which is so sad.
02:42 But yeah, you should definitely wear waterproof mascara.
02:45 And then for cheeks I'm using a Benefit Lip and Cheek Stain Tint thing.
02:51 It's lolly tint and it's just a bright pink color.
02:54 And then I'm using Hoola by Benefit to bronze up my face and give me kind of a nice sun-kissed glow and contour kind of thing.
03:03 And then I'm using these two lip products from Dior. They're really moisturizing and I guess you don't really need lip gloss
03:09 if you're hanging out at the beach all day. But it's a pretty color for summer and spring so I'm wearing that.
03:16 And that is the finished makeup.
03:18 And now it's on to the hair and I'm not doing anything special. I'm just putting it up in a high ponytail.
03:31 And my hair was like curly from the day before because I curled it so it's nice and wavy now.
03:36 And I think it's cute and you just want it out of your face for the beach anyway. So yeah.
03:41 So this is what I wore to the beach to hang out and just grab something to eat.
03:49 As you can tell I'm really loving that bunseye bowl. I'm pretty much just eating that the whole time.
03:54 But this romper is from Cotton On, which you might have seen in my previous huge summer haul.
04:00 If not, you should definitely watch that.
04:02 These sandals are from Target.
04:04 And that's pretty much all to my outfit. It's pretty simple and casual.
04:11 And of course I've got to Instagram my bunseye bowl because Instagram's life. You should follow me by the way.
04:18 Now let's just get into the essentials that I pack in my bag when I'm going to the beach.
04:23 First off is magazines of course to just keep me entertained.
04:27 Then you've got to get your sunglasses. You've got to get... I said that weird.
04:31 You've got to get your sunglasses. Mine are from Forever 21.
04:34 And of course some sunscreen to protect your skin.
04:38 And to smell good you've got to bring your deodorant and my pink Victoria's Secret body spray.
04:44 And of course your phone and headphones to listen to music because that's always fun at the beach.
04:50 And a hairbrush because my hair gets really knotty at the beach.
04:54 And if I'm going somewhere afterwards I like to have that.
04:57 And this is just a little pouch from Forever 21 to keep your car keys, some gum and anything really, lip gloss.
05:03 Anything you want just to keep it separated.
05:06 And of course you've got to have a snack when you're at the beach.
05:10 My snack of choice is gummy bears. I really love gummy bears.
05:15 So yeah, that's pretty much all that I would carry in my bag.
05:21 And of course you probably need a bathing suit.
05:24 If you're going to spend the day at the beach sell the bathing suit that I was wearing under.
05:28 My clothes is from Target. Again, I love Target.
05:31 Bathing suits from there are so cheap and such good quality so definitely, definitely recommend that.
