00:18 Hey guys! So today's video is going to be a makeup tutorial on this look.
00:21 It's actually really similar to things I've done in the past,
00:24 but I wanted to do a like orangey, bronzy, smoky eye
00:30 using this eyeshadow right here that I have been using and loving.
00:36 These are the NYX Prismatic Eyeshadows.
00:39 And I've always thought that they were good, but I didn't realize how good they were until recently.
00:43 Oh, so you wanna laugh?
00:47 [laughs]
00:51 I didn't highlight the inner corner of this eye.
00:55 Okay. Let's ignore that.
01:02 I ended the video without even doing that. Wow.
01:06 If you haven't tried these Prismatic Eyeshadows by NYX, they are probably one of the best drugstore.
01:12 If not the best drugstore-- yes, they are the best single eyeshadows at the drugstore right now.
01:17 And I can't believe I haven't been using-- I got them at IMATS,
01:20 and I can't believe I haven't been using them every single day.
01:23 So this is the look I came up with.
01:26 I know it's similar to things I've done, but I wanted to do a full face drugstore tutorial,
01:31 and I wanted to do something that's perfect for a night out,
01:34 especially now that we're in the summer with a really like eyeliner.
01:39 So if you wanna see how to get this look, then just keep watching.
01:42 I just quickly wanted to show you guys that I did my eyebrows using drugstore products,
01:46 but they take forever, so I didn't show it.
01:47 I used the ELF Brow Wiz and the L'Oreal Brow Mascara.
01:51 So now I'm moving on to priming my eyelids.
01:53 I'm using the Jessie's Girl Eyeshadow Primer.
01:55 I purchased mine off of jessiesgirl.com, and I love it.
01:59 I love this primer. It really makes my eyeshadows stick onto my lid.
02:03 I'm gonna use a base 'cause I want the gold to really pop underneath the eyeshadow.
02:07 So this is a Milani Eyeshadow Stick.
02:10 I'm not sure what the name is, but I'll have it listed below.
02:13 Now taking the NYX Prismatic Eyeshadow in the shade Bedroom Eyes,
02:18 I'm applying this to my entire lid with a flat shader brush.
02:20 I'm not exactly sure why I'm going so slow.
02:23 Like I'm applying this eyeshadow very slowly, and I don't know why,
02:27 but I love the prismatic eyeshadows.
02:29 If you don't own any, please go out and purchase them.
02:32 They're all good, every single one.
02:35 They're so intense. They feel very high-end and luxurious.
02:38 Then I'm taking this Morphe Fluffy Brush.
02:41 I like this one because it's very, very, like, small.
02:44 It's a small, fluffy brush.
02:46 This is the Sonia Kashuk Eye on Neutral Matte Palette,
02:49 and I'm taking the orangey color.
02:51 It reminds me a lot of a mixture between Makeup Geek's Chiggety and Peach Smoothie.
02:57 It's like a nice, warm transition shade.
03:00 So I'm using this brush to blend out the prismatic eyeshadow
03:04 so there are no harsh lines and to give that extra little warmth to the crease.
03:08 Then I'm going to go into this brown eyeshadow right here--
03:12 yes, that one--in the palette with the same brush,
03:15 and I'm just going to do the exact same thing
03:17 because I do want to add more brown to it.
03:19 I don't want it to be just like a straight-up orange crease.
03:22 Even though I like that, I just want to add more brown to the crease there.
03:26 Then I'm just taking a big, fluffy brush with no eyeshadow
03:33 and blending things out so there are no harsh lines, you know?
03:37 Going into this other prismatic eyeshadow in the shade Girl Talk,
03:41 and I'm applying this to my brow bone just to give a little bit of shine.
03:45 I don't want to apply too much because this is a very pigmented eyeshadow,
03:48 so I'm barely tapping it.
03:50 And then I'm going into the white in the palette
03:52 and I'm applying that underneath my brow bone.
03:54 I layered the other one underneath because I didn't want it to be just like a flat white shade,
03:58 so that's why.
04:00 Then I'm going to go into a brush really similar to a MAC 217.
04:04 It's like a paddle, fluffy blending brush,
04:06 and I'm going to go back into that orange shade
04:08 and then I'm really going to start blowing out that orange color.
04:12 I decided I wanted to be a little bit more orangey in the crease, you know my style.
04:17 So yeah, that's just what I'm doing here, going back and forth with that color.
04:20 And then I'm going to take this eyeliner from LA Girl,
04:24 and I'm tightlining with this,
04:26 and then I'm applying a little bit to my top lashes
04:29 just so it could look like there's eyeliner there, but there really isn't.
04:33 So I'm going to finish off my eyes, I mean my face, before I finish my eyes, you know.
04:38 I'm priming my face with the L'Oreal Magic Lumi Light Infusing Primer,
04:44 I believe that's what it's called.
04:46 And then I'm going to go in with this foundation.
04:48 I wanted to use it because I haven't used it in a long time.
04:50 I'm using this ELF Buffer Brush.
04:52 This is the Neutrogena Healthy Mix Foundation.
04:55 I'm in the shade 40, even though I noticed it looks maybe a little too light,
05:00 but it's okay, bronzer can fix that.
05:02 So I'm applying this to my whole face.
05:04 It gives a nice, radiant, just like glowy look without being too greasy or too much.
05:09 I really like this foundation.
05:11 I don't know why I don't use it more, because it's nice.
05:13 Then for concealer, I decided to bust out this LA Girl Pro Conceal.
05:21 I haven't used it in a long time.
05:22 This is in the shade Creamy Beige.
05:24 Excuse me, I'm singing.
05:27 So yeah, this is in Creamy Beige, and I hate the packaging.
05:30 I think I don't use this as much because the packaging is just so hard to squeeze this concealer out,
05:35 so it drives me nuts, but it's an amazing concealer.
05:39 So I use it.
05:41 So I just started blending all that out, and then I remembered,
05:44 "Hey, this is not the brush I like to use to blend."
05:47 I'm going to grab my Sedona Lace 217.
05:50 It's the perfect brush to blend out my under-eye concealer.
05:53 I love it.
05:54 But then I said, "Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait."
05:56 I decided to plop on the Maybelline Magic Lumi Highlighting Pen.
06:01 This is in the shade Ivory.
06:02 I like to apply this on top of my concealer because it just brightens my under-eyes a lot more.
06:07 It's not opaque enough, or it doesn't have enough coverage to be a concealer on its own,
06:11 but I do like to use it as a highlighter.
06:14 So that's what I'm doing, and then I'm just blending everything out.
06:24 I don't know what's wrong with me. I'm sorry.
06:27 But yes, moving on.
06:28 So I've decided to do cream products.
06:31 I'm putting on a bunch of cream products under my powder products.
06:35 So I'm taking the Sonia Kashuk Cream Bronzer in Rich Bronze.
06:39 I like this one more than Warm Tan.
06:41 It's just a little bit darker and not as, like, orange-looking.
06:45 So I'm applying this with a Makeup Geek Stippling Brush,
06:48 and I'm just kind of contouring with this, and then it falls.
06:51 Oh, that almost fell out of my hand there.
06:53 Anyway, back to this.
06:55 Oh, my God. My roots are so terrible.
06:57 Like, I cannot believe I haven't dyed my roots yet.
07:00 I'm going to do that soon, but holy crap, they're so bad.
07:03 Anyway, I'm taking the Real Techniques Stippling Brush,
07:06 and I'm applying the E.L.F. Cream Blush in the shade Peach Perfection to my cheeks,
07:13 and I barely put anything on.
07:14 Honestly, this step was pointless because I barely put any blush on.
07:18 I wanted it to be mostly bronzy.
07:20 Then I'm going to take this L'Oreal Lumi Cream Highlight.
07:24 This is in the shade Golden, and I'm applying this to my cheekbones.
07:27 I don't like the powders in this line, but I really like the liquid illuminators
07:30 that L'Oreal just recently came out with.
07:33 So because I hadn't set my concealer with powder,
07:35 I blended it out with my finger just to get rid of some of the creases,
07:38 and now I'm going to set my under-eye concealer.
07:42 This is a NYX powder that I couldn't open in the shade Banana,
07:46 and this is just, like, a paddle brush from Zoeva,
07:48 and I am setting my under-eyes so that they don't crease and they stay in place.
07:53 My concealer stays in place.
07:57 Then I'm going to go ahead and bronze with a powder bronzer now,
08:00 just, like, to set everything.
08:01 This is a Jane bronzer in the shade Inspire,
08:05 and this is a Morphe brush from the Elite Collection,
08:08 and I am just bronzing up my face.
08:10 I'm not doing anything super crazy.
08:11 I'm not contouring, just, you know, being bronzy.
08:15 Then I'm going to take this highlighter/bronzer by Milani.
08:18 It's called Fantastic in Gold,
08:21 and I applied my brush in, like, the white sections
08:24 just so I can add a highlight to my cheeks
08:27 because if I would have applied it, like, in the bronzy section,
08:29 it would have been too dark.
08:30 So that is what I did,
08:32 and then I finished off my eyes by applying that same brown eyeliner
08:36 to my waterline, and then I really got up in there,
08:39 and I just, like, applied--
08:40 I'm, like, blinking a lot because I don't like to tug on my eyes,
08:43 but I applied a thick layer of that to my lower lash line,
08:46 a lot thicker than I normally do,
08:48 and then I just kind of blended it out with a brush
08:51 just so that everything could be nice and even,
08:53 and then with a more dense pencil brush,
08:56 I'm going to dip it into that orange shade
08:58 and just go over everything so it doesn't look like a raccoon eye
09:01 so that everything is nice and blended
09:03 and it just looks smoky, not like a harsh brown line.
09:07 Then the mascara I'm using is from Maybelline,
09:09 and this is their Miss Manga Rock mascara,
09:12 and I applied it to my top and bottom lashes.
09:15 So to finish off this look,
09:17 I just took the Revlon Super Lustrous Matte Lipstick in Smoked Peach,
09:20 and I decided I wanted it to be glossy, not matte,
09:23 and a little bit more pink, not so peach.
09:25 So I took the ELF Extra Lip Gloss in the shade Brine,
09:28 and I just applied it on top,
09:30 and then that completes this makeup tutorial.
09:33 I really hope you guys enjoyed.
09:35 Please subscribe if you haven't already,
09:37 and I will see you in my next video.
09:39 Peace.
