00:23 Hey guys! Prom season is around the corner so I decided to do a makeup tutorial for that.
00:29 This is my first video of my prom series so I'm really excited to kick it off with a makeup tutorial.
00:37 I am not good at makeup tutorials so keep that in mind.
00:42 If you guys would like to see how I did this eye makeup for prom or semi-formal then just keep on watching.
00:49 To start off this makeup tutorial I'm going to be going off with my Maybelline Fit Me concealer
00:54 and I'm going to be putting that in all the problem spots that I have.
00:59 Take a note that I do not have foundation at the moment so I will not be putting that on.
01:04 But if you do have some then feel free to use that.
01:07 [music]
01:14 Now I'm going to be taking my beauty blender and I'm going to be starting to blend out all the concealer
01:21 in the spots where I put concealer in.
01:24 [music]
01:53 [music]
02:00 Now taking my stippling brush I'm just going to do last minute touching or last minute blending
02:06 with the brush so that way I did, just in case I miss any spots.
02:11 [music]
02:15 Now to set in all of the concealer I am basically going to be taking my powder
02:21 and I am using the Maybelline Dream Wonder in the shade 70 or natural beige.
02:29 [music]
02:36 Now I'm going to be taking my blush brush, oh that was so hard to say,
02:42 and I'm going to be putting that into this really kind of like a pinkish tone color.
02:50 I have no idea what it's called but yeah.
02:55 [music]
02:58 Now I'm going to be taking a bronzer and doing a little fishy face
03:02 and I'm going to be putting on bronzer under my cheek or where I put the blush
03:06 so that way it can emphasize my cheekbones.
03:10 [music]
03:18 After the bronzer I'm going to be taking this shimmery white kind of color
03:22 and I'm going to be putting that on cheekbones or above the area where I put the blush on
03:27 so that way it can really highlight that area and make it pop or stand out a little bit more.
03:34 [music]
03:44 On to the eyes, I'm going to be taking a brush with a rounded tip
03:48 and I'm going to be putting a kind of like a whitish kind of color on my lid
03:55 and the color that I'm using from the Naked palette is virgin
03:59 and I'm going to be putting that all over the lid of my eyes.
04:03 [music]
04:08 Using the same brush I'm going to be using the color from my Naked 2 palette, Chopper,
04:13 and it's kind of like a pinkish tone kind of champagne-y color
04:19 and I'm going to be putting that on my eyelids where I put the whitish kind of color on my eyes.
04:26 [music]
04:37 Now taking tape I'm going to be putting it on the angles of my eyes
04:39 so that way when I take it off all the eyeshadow will be in a nice crease or cut
04:44 and the next color I'm going to be using is a matte light brown
04:49 and I'm using a fluffy brush and I'm going to be putting that on the outer corner of my eyes.
04:55 [music]
05:14 Taking a small pointy brush I'm going to be putting on a dark matte color
05:20 on the outer corner of my eyes and I'm going to be drawing like this V shape on it
05:25 so that way it can emphasize the little crease part that I'm putting on.
05:30 [music]
05:38 Then using a fluffy brush I'm going to be blending that all out in my outer corner.
05:44 [music]
05:48 Taking this blackish kind of shimmery color I'm going to be putting that on the outer corner of my eyes
05:53 but not all the way to the top where my blending line was when I was putting on the dark brown
06:00 and I'm kind of like making like a little V shape but it's not really a V.
06:06 It's kind of just me blending it out with that small brush since it's so intense
06:13 and this is just going to add drama to the eyes.
06:16 [music]
06:22 And now finally I'm just going to be taking that big fluffy brush again or the fluffy eye brush
06:30 and I'm just going to be starting to blend that out.
06:33 [music]
06:57 Now on to the next color. I'm going to be taking this shimmery kind of silver color
07:03 and I'm going to be putting that on the bottom part of my lid and it's kind of like in the middle
07:09 and it's going to make your eyes look a little bit bigger because it looks like the light is shining
07:15 towards the middle part of your eye.
07:18 [music]
07:24 Now I'm reapplying the second color that we used which was a champagne-y kind of color
07:30 on the outer part of the lid and it's just going to make it look like a gradient effect
07:38 which is from the dark color to the champagne-y color to the silver color
07:44 and now I'm just going to be blending that out so that way it looks nice and smooth and transition.
07:49 [music]
07:51 Now to make the eyes look a little bit brighter, I'm just going to be putting that same color
07:55 that I put on the middle of my lid in the inner corners and now it's finally time to take off the tape
08:02 but the thing about it is that I really don't like the fine lines so I'm just going to be blending that line out.
08:10 [music]
08:16 Now it's time to fill in the eyebrows so I'm just going to be taking my eyebrow pencil
08:24 and I'm just going to be filling in like the bald spots of my eyebrows
08:29 since my eyebrows are a lot thicker in the inner part but towards the top angle part it's kind of thin
08:37 and I'm going to be taking like this long spoolie brush and I'm just going to be blending the color around
08:43 so that way it doesn't look so harsh.
08:45 [music]
08:48 Now I'm going to be taking this like kind of gel mascara/eyebrow kind of product
08:55 and I'm just going to be putting that on my eyebrows so that way it will stay put.
08:59 [music]
09:03 On to the eyeliner and I'm going to be taking this L'Oreal Paris kind of eyeliner
09:09 and I'm going to be putting a thin line on the lid and I'm going to be winging it out
09:14 and as you can see I'm kind of failing and I'm not really good at eyeliner so I'm sorry for that.
09:22 [music]
09:51 [music]
09:58 Finally after five years worth of putting on eyeliner I'm going to be taking my eyelash curler
10:04 and I'm going to be curling those eyelashes.
10:06 [music]
10:16 Now it's time for the mascara and I am using the L'Oreal Voluminous Butterfly Mascara in Waterproof
10:25 and I'm going to be putting that on the upper and lower part of my eyes.
10:30 [music]
10:59 [music]
11:08 And this is the look with mascara but I want to make the look a little bit more dramatic
11:13 so I'm going to be putting on false eyelashes and this is the completed look.
11:20 [music]
